Earth Burger was delish - Edit
The pickled cabbage atop vegan patty was so flavorful and fun addition to a burger. The vegan cheesecake had a tasty thick biscoff cookie crust and accompanied with dairy free whip. It was a very pleasing meal.

Mushroom Wellington - Edit
It was great to get a veganized version of the Wellington, made with mushrooms. It came with a portion of well-seasoned root veggies. The gravy was super satisfying!
Read moreI think the filling was a mix of rice and mushrooms if I am not incorrect.
The menu had a few vegan options including burgers, pasta, salad, and even a cheesecake and a crumble.

Delicious vegan nachos - Edit
The nacho sharer was really really good. We also go the burgers which were supposed to be vegan chicken but it was more like a beyond meat burger. Nothing special as far as burgers go but the nachos really were great

Great Vegan Lunch - Edit
Nice restaurant/bar on the way back to Glasgow from the north. Mary the server was friendly and pointed out what was vegan on the menu. I had the tomato and cannelinin (cannellini?) bean pie which came with potatoes, gravy, and steamed veggies. My wife had a salad with quinoa. Both were delicious. They offer several NA beers. Would stop again if I were nearby. Parking lot had available spaces at lunch on a bank holiday.
Read morePros: cannelinin pie great on a cold, misty Scottish day, Server was very friendly, glassed in front dining area
Cons: More quinoa would be nice

Disappointing and limited options - Edit
There were only 2 options for vegan mains on the menu (beetroot and cheeze tart and a moving mountains burger) but unfortunately they had sold out of the tart. The burger was ok, but not amazing. Croquettes for starter were also pretty average. We also stayed here for 2 nights and the 'continental' breakfast was cereal and toast. We specifically asked for vegan breakfast (by email, confirmed on the phone and confirmed in person on check in). We were brought butter and milk with no alternative options.

Cons: Not many options , Fairly average food, Brought us non vegan options for breakfast

Unusual and delicious dishes - Edit
Vegan options were more limited because of Covid but they did NOT disappoint - two lovely and quite unusual dishes. I had the “Chip shop croquettes” to start, followed by the “Smoked cheeze and beetroot tart”. Both were outstanding. All topped off with friendly service and a nice setting.

Surprisingly tasty food! - Edit
Fantastic variety of options with atleast two main dishes and three vegan starters. Portions were generous and came with a lovely salad that didn't make me miss anything basically. Highly recommend it!
