Edit: Not fully vegan - Edit
This is a nice little restaurant. Food was good but the options we chose were felt weren’t as good as they could have been. The lemongrass tofu noodle soup was not as flavourful as I was expecting and the pancakes were very oily. They may have eggs and mayonnaise so is not fully vegan

Pros: Lots of options

No, it's not fully vegan. When I went in, I asked if anything had eggs, and they said, "everything is vegan."
Read moreWhen they brought my 'chicken' nuggets, I asked what were the red and yellow sauces. "Ketchup and mayonnaise " "Vegan mayonnaise?" I checked. "Yes."
But one minute and one bite later, he returned and said "sorry, that was regular mayonnaise."
And i got up and left - thats a serious problem for those of us who may have allergies! Makes me wonder if their egg noodles are indeed real egg!

Authentically Vietnamese; 100% veg - Edit
Vietnamese vegetarian restaurants introduced me to vegetarianism decades ago, but this was my first time to Tue Tam (wish I was in this area more often to be able to eat here again)
Read moreThey have a huge menu and everything we had was delicious!
My partner is Viet and not vegetarian; she was excited to be able to share some favorites with me, especially Banh Bot Loc and Banh Xeo. She was surprised at how spot on the Bahn Bot Loc tasted to the traditional version "taste, texture, everything"
The Banh Xeo was delicious and an awesome texture; came with lots of greens so we could make our own little wraps topped with chili oil and Sriracha.
Mi Quang egg noodles are so good.
Glad we drove out of our way to eat here, definitely worth it!
Pros: Authentic , Friendly service , Family-owned

Vegan Vietnamese Food - Edit
I had the chance to try three dishes from the menu, and I was impressed! The server confirmed that all their dishes are vegan, even though the restaurant is labeled vegetarian. I also double-checked that none of the items I ordered contained eggs, and the server assured me they didn’t.
Read moreTo start, I had the Cha Gio (mung bean "egg" rolls), which were delightfully crispy and packed with flavorful mushrooms and carrots—absolutely delicious. Next, I enjoyed the Bun Rieu (tomato noodle soup), a hearty and satisfying dish featuring noodles, fried tofu, shredded tofu, mushrooms, a slice of vegan deli meat, carrots, and onions. It was so comforting and filling.
Lastly, I took the ƠM GÀ HẢI NAM RÔTI (fried chick'n rice) to go, and it was equally delicious, especially reheated in the oven. Every bite was a treat!
I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend it!
