Pretty good! - Edit
I’m glad there was a vegan option - always happy when there’s one! This was a blue corn one. The textures were a little off but the flavor was good! There’s also sooooo many hot sauces you can use.

Great quick veg lunch - Edit
We went here for lunch. I really appreciate that the vegetarian and vegan choices are their own dishes, and not just "leave out the meat" versions of non-veg dishes. Great salsa bar!

Tasty tamales! - Edit
Fresh or frozen doesn’t matter, these tamales are delicious! My favs are green chili/cheese and black bean/cheese, if you can’t make it to their shop they do carry at Whole Foods and Natural Grocers in freezer sections. Love these!

Curry tamales! - Edit
There is almost a dozen vegan tamale options here and they are all phenomenal. There is a soyrizo breakfast tamale, dessert tamales, and my two favorite flavors- blue corn veggie and veggie curry. Everything is local and so fresh!

Delicious vegan tamales - Edit
Oh man, these tamales are perfection. We ordered the 2 tamale plate with the blue corn & curry tamales. The curry ones were really good- nice flavor, but obvi not traditional. The blue corn ones were good, especially if eaten with the rice and beans. We also picked up one of each of their to-go tamales- can’t wait to try them! We will say that we think they just popped them in the microwave, which didn’t bother us. They also ship to all 50 states!

Great Food - Edit
I'm from Minnesota and never had a tamale before. This place was right across from my hotel, so I thought I would try it.
Read moreThey have two vegan tamales, so I tried them both, along with black beans and rice. I covered all of it with their spicy salsa, and it was delicious. I don't really understand why the food is wrapped in an inedible corn husk, but I unwrapped them and overall thought it was a great lunch. I'll take this over Chipotle any day.
Pros: Two vegan tamales and lots of vegan sides, Great salsas
Cons: The inedible corn husks

Nice tamales - Edit
I stopped here for breakfast. They have two tamales on their regular menu that are vegan (New Delhi curry and blue corn with squash). I tried both, topped with a variety of salsas from their well-stocked salsa bar. I enjoyed the tamales, and I would definitely come again for breakfast or a snack.

great tamales - Edit
We visited this location while on vacation. Its just as good as the one on Broadway. In fact I think it might be better. I had 2 of the new Delhi tamales, they were incredible. The masa was so tender and flavorful.
