Amazing overall experience - Edit
The vibe in this place is amazing. The food was very well prepared both visually and with regards to taste. This was the top culinary experience at a vegan restaurant in Japan. Highly recommended. Fairly priced and nice staff as well.

Good, but not great - Edit
A zero waste concept is revolutionary in Japan. The store does a great job of implementing this, even the menu looks like it comes from sustainable production.
Read moreUnfortunately there is no relationship between price and performance. As a vegan, you are happy about any shop here where you can order thoughtlessly and without asking. But it's a shame if in the end it feels like you're being asked to pay heavily for it. So far it was the most expensive restaurant we ate in, with unfortunately only mediocre food.
Pros: A Lot of Options for side dishes, The seasonal Drink tasted good
Cons: To expensive, Service was very slow(No full House), No exciting taste

Cozy Korean Food, Low Stress - Edit
Our first night in Japan we were desperately looking for a place for a meal as most of our hotels had meals included that accommodate our dietary needs.
Read moreThis location did not require a reservation, although the shop is quite small. We were seated immediately, some aspects were self serve such as getting water.
We were waited on and were treated kindly and respectfully by those that helped us. There was an English menu which was very accommodating.
The food was great, I chose the Rainbow Gimbap for something light (since I was stressed from food hunting) and my partner got the Korean BBQ Bowl which I was jealous of because it was delicious. We also got tea which was wonderful.
Pros: Easy, Cozy, Delicious
Cons: Small, Limited menu , N/A

PERFECTION - Edit
it was an amazing restaurant, the interior with lots of love, plants and some own zero waste products. The staff was so kind and genuinely friendly - we talked a bit after paying. The soy meat was incredible, everyone (non vegans/vegetarians) loved it so much! Oh and we all loved the zero waste philosophy!

Best vegan chicken for non-vegans - Edit
I had the BBQ bowl. I recommend that for all non-vegan friends following their vegans to restaurants. Tastes like pork. No idea how they did it, flavour was amazing.

Cosy, awesome place serving korean based food. The staff/owners are incredible lovely - please keep up your fantastic work!
Read moreI was a bit early (3:55 pm) but served anyway. So there was a place free with no waiting time at all and the service also super fast. The store was soon crowded, clearly because of the awesome food here.
Had the BBQ bowl with a ginger lemon syrup and a lemon cake for dessert. Everything was excellent! 5 stars on top of 5 stars. Clear recommendation!!!
Pros: Nice cosy location., Awesome food., Lovely staff and atmosphere.

Great, fresh food but the wait was long - Edit
The BBQ bowl was our favorite between that and the salad bowl. The faux meat was incredible.
Read moreWe loved that you could specify the amount of rice you wanted and the small portion was plenty for both of us.
The cafe is cozy and warmly decorated. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient.
It was cool to browse the zero/low waste products for sale for a few minutes while we waited.
Unfortunately, the wait to be seated was very long. In their defense it was a holiday (Sports Day) and they believe that contributed to the crowd. There were lots of people outside waiting to be seated for about an hour, including us, even with just one or two couples ahead on the wait list. That is because the poor employees were short staffed with just two people feeding the whole bustling cafe including the waiter, and that meant that once seated the wait for food was long too. The couple that was seated 30 min before us hadn’t received their food yet when we were seated next to them. They had run out of a couple dishes and desserts too. Hopefully that part of the experience isn’t the norm!

Cute little vegan restaurant - Edit
Has a good amount of available dishes. Menu sets with a daily soup and/or drink are available. They also adjust some drinks and sweets based on seasonal availability of ingredients. The owners are very friendly and speak good English. As it is a rather small restaurant, it’s possible that there is no free seat left during peak hours and you’d have to wait some time.

Cute little place with awesome food! - Edit
Nice interior setup and spectacular service. Super English friendly. Enjoyed a conversation with server and an extended one with a new friend at the bar!
Read moreI have never had Korean BBQ before, but it was awesome. I got it with the noodles and black bean. The BBQ is very salty and tasty. The black beans were good, but something just a bit lacking from the 'soy chunks' in it. However, not bad. Desserts were great, would recommend!

Vegan food kyoto! - Edit
Goed: Leuk klein restaurant. Mooi ingericht en heel aardig verwelkomd. Eigenaren zijn erg aardig en de menu en de winkel zagen er leuk uit. Eten was lekker, leuk en mooi gedecoreerd en kleurrijk. Prijs was redelijk in verhouding.
Read moreMinder goed: Hoeveelheid was naar onze mening weinig. We hadden daarna nog honger en zijn nogmaals ergens anders gaan eten uiteindelijk.

Really good vegan Korean food - Edit
Such a cute place, only a short walk from the subway. I had the bibimbap with kimchi, and I liked that there were 3 serving options depending on how much rice you wanted. Was also tempted by the rainbow kimbap that the next table had, but the bibimbap was very filling. Love that they sell zero waste grocery things as well!
