one of my fav places to eat when i’m at bugis!
Read morenice little store conveniently located at the bugis junction food court. it’s at a corner, look out for the ramp to the drink store and you’ll find the store😄staff are friendly and food is served quick!
***: my go-to favourites
we ordered:
***1. chickenless cutlet curry rice $7.80
coconut-based curry served on the side with a bowl of rice and steamed/boiled veggies. the cutlet is fried to crisp perfection and is very tasty! doesn’t taste too “mock meat”. if you like the taste of coconut milk in curry, you will enjoy this.
***2. soya soup dumpling ramen $7.80
LARGE PORTION! warm creamy soya soup with veggie dumplings, some silken tofu, lots of various vegetables and chewy ramen noodles. my favourite option when i’m extra hungry!
3. shrooms bak kut teh $8.80
LARGE PORTION! lots of ingredients such as beancurd skin, mushrooms, vegetables and fungi. delicious soup, would be great for you if you like a very herbal bak kut teh.
4. signature dry mee sua $6.80
i cant remember how it tasted but i can confirm it was pretty good 😂 nice sauce!
5. veg crisp roll $4.70
it was alright, mediocre.
overall the food is rather pricey but the quality of the dish makes up for it. delicious and healthy meals with reasonable-large portions!
Pros: many different healthy dishes, friendly staff, quick service , reasonable-large portion
Cons: a lil pricey

Delicious meals, healthy and reasonable pricing - Edit
I had the Soya Soup Dumpling Ramen - super delicious! Ingredients were generous as well, found that it was as per the picture on the menu, 2 dumplings, tofu and veg and portions were sufficient.
Read moreThey have other options as well, such as Bak kut teh with brown rice or ramen, which I tried the last time that I was here.
The stall is located at food junction (an air conditioned food court) where there are many seats and many other stalls. It could get crowded during lunchtime and may have to wait for a short while to get seats, but otherwise the place is great!
An added bonus is that the food from the stall is vegan (no egg and dairy) and allium free (no onion, garlic), so it is inclusive for all vegetarians.
Highly recommended to try!
Pros: Lots of vegan options at affordable prices, Healthy options

We came here randomly one day - Looking for food, expecting economy rice, finding dry assam laksa 😀.

This place was a nice find. I got the curry rice chicken cutlet and was pleasantly surprised. It had a nice flavour and was a good size portion. Will come back to try something else here in the future.

No eggs, No Milk - YESSS! - Edit
Lots of my Asian/Chinese meals are served here.
Read moreSo happy to see there's No MSG, no eggs and no milk in this Truly Vegetarian place.
I asked to switch to brown rice, but they didn't tell me it was an additional SGD3 for the switch.
Liked how the cutlery was separated, only for vegetarian use. Yes!
Just a pity the staff couldn't communicate well with me. I asked a few questions but they looked confused and couldn't reply.
Pros: Good selection
Cons: The staff couldn't really communicate with me.

Hi Chef, it is a great pleasure to serve you at our stall. Hope you had a good meal with us. My apology to you that my staff had over charge the additional for switching to Brown rice at SGD3 instead of SGD0.30 cents from white rice. Hoping to see you soon, so that I could make a return balance to you. Thank you, Chef. ? Jeffrey

Not amazing yet expensive - Edit
Got the fried chicken curry rice, fried chicken was just a processed pink burger patty that tastes and feels like cheap spam. Should have swapped for Quorn’s cutlets, way healthier and better quality. Vegetables and curry sauce were cooked separated resulting in bland vegetables and a strong coconut curry.

very nice - Edit
I had the signature soya porridge and pawn fritters. Both were very good - especially the porridge: the porridge itself was very creamy, and the many different toppings added some variety in sweetness, salt and spice. The dish just looked very nice as well.

My Experience with Truly Vegetarian - Edit
Hello everyone! This was the second place I (found with the help of Happy Cow) tried Vegan Food in Singapore, and it has been more than a year and I still return back to them when I am in town! More than the food, taste and the ambience, what pulls me here each time is the welcoming and friendly nature of the owner! And I am so happy that through Truly Vegetarian, I am able to taste true Asian food without the guilt!

So-so food, better options available in Singapore - Edit
Visited Truly Vegetarian and had an ok meal. Limited options, and both the curry with vegetables and bak kut teh mushroom soup were mediocre. Me and my wife both had upset stomaches afterwards, which didn't happen anywhere else in Singapore.
