The other reviewers were right -the employees need to know where to find info on ingredients. One man said that the jerk sauce had milk...another employee went back to look and said no milk, she even kindly brought out the giant bottle to show me (she very sweetly said “because it’s important to know what you’re eating”)

Great Alternative but Training is needed - Edit
When you are out and about and want to grab something quick, a smoothie in hot tropical Florida can be exactly what you need! Tropical Smoothie Cafe has plenty to offer but after my third visit, it is clear that the staff need training to let customers know what they are consuming and can answer questions if items contain milk or dairy. If you ask if the protein powder is milk based or plant based you get a shrug and a "dunno". When asked if they could check,,, they said they have no way of knowing. Watch carefully to be sure they are using Almond or Soy milk as one barista got confused and assumed that "Lactose-Free" milk was vegan.

Tropical Smoothie - Edit
As a plant-based person for many years Tropical Smoothie has been one of my staples for a quick fresh lunch or smoothie. I do order the smoothies without any sugar to include turbinado and when ordering the hummus wrap ensure you ask for no cheese. Good food value and usually pretty quick service depending on the queue. It basically has become our choice for a quick, fresh, good meal, especially when on the road.
