Delicious vegan options

There’s a section on the menu called Meatless Dishes. Server was very professional and let me know which dishes are vegan. I got the lentil dish and had a few dips for appetizer. Everything was very very good. Will definitely be coming back

Pros: Great service, Yummy food, Reasonable price

Cons: Below ground seating

Fresh, authentic, delicious

This Lebanese restaurant offers a variety of veg appetizers, salads and veg-friendly main courses (on the menu they're called meatless dishes). Welcoming vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike, this is a great spot for a group with its freshly prepared , tasty main dishes, crisp, crunchy , flavorful salads, and home baked pita bread. The service was quick and considerate , and the menu offered so many veg choices: eggplant, lentil, black eye pea, cauliflower or potato are components of different "meatless dishes." I had a meze platter (assorted appetizers) that was definitely big enough for dinner, and a fattoush salad with pomegranate vinaigrette--both were delicious . Friends ordered more olives and more home made felafel since they were so different , Lebanese-style. Our group was super-pleased with our orders: felafel , tabouli , cous cous, Greek salad, appetizer platters. We brought our own wine, but beverages are also on the menu, as well as dessert. I have to stress how genuinely good , house made and fresh everything was. Many places on Atlantic Avenue sell bland, oily or over-garlicky or heavy food. Not this place ! Definitely worth a try, and moderately priced. The dining room of this restaurant, furnished with intricately carved wooden chairs & tables, is below street level, so take the stairs down to this cosy, friendly , delicious place. It does a brisk take out business too--no surprise there!

Pros: Fresh, House made, Quick friendly service

Cons: 10 minute walk from subway station
