Raw cakes are stunning - Edit
We shared 3 raw cakes, the lilikoi, black forest, and key lime and they were stunning. The lilikoi is by far my favorite. Worth a drive no matter where you are on the island. The server knew what was up vegan-wise. The avo toast looked good, but we were there for something else, glad to be there.

Pros: rawsome!

I should note, some in our party eat local responsible hunny, and I think some of this may have hunny in it (for those who don't)...

Vegan sweets! - Edit
Can’t speak to the drinks, but the food options are great! Millet cornbread was interesting and the raw Snickers bar was amazing!

Best latte I had in Hawaii. - Edit
Small little coffee shop that sells lattes, drip coffee. Lots of little vegan snacks like homemade bars, brownies, fudge, and little desserts. Everything was very fresh and tasty. We got the vanilla latte which uses their own vanilla flavoring, and it was excellent.

Excellent drip coffee for $1 - Edit
Wanted a quick morning coffee on our way to the beach and saw this place had great reviews so we stopped in. We like our coffee black (and without any sweeteners) so we really taste the coffee and their house coffee is excellent, has a great taste. Couldnt believe it was only $1!

They’re nice!! Amazing offerings - Edit
I had gone three times to Java Kai and had bad experiences. The manager (or maybe owner) in Kapaa was a pain, crowded, not good vegan options, no outlet, etc. Finding this place was a GEM, and I wished I hadn’t spent any money elsewhere!

Cons: A bit expensive, but it’s Kauai..., Not long enough hours!

Coffee, choc and cookies only - Edit
A pricey place but with a good selection of vegan cookies, chocolates and non-dairy milk for coffee. As the last reviewer said, there are no savoury options.

coffee & treats - Edit
just want to update. i came here for breakfast based off of someone else’s review and they don’t have any breakfast wraps or any meals, just desserts and coffee. most of the desserts were vegan and they looked good but if you’re looking for something filling or a meal this isn’t the place.

Delicious breakfasts & lunches - Edit
Tonnes of the food is vegan and it's all clearly marked as such. The spicy vermicelli salad and vegan potato salad were awesome lunch options, although the portions were a bit small. But that does leave room for some of their delicious baked goods. The spelt and millet cornbread and wonderbars held up really well to have for breakfast a few days later.

amazing vegan breakfast wrap!! - Edit
Stopped here for breakfast on our way to hike the Kalalau Trail. Had the hot vegan breakfast wrap and it was my favorite meal since being on the island! Tempeh, kale, sweet potato, quinoa on a flaky baked wrap. The wraps are delivered every morning by a chef so we had to wait about 15 minutes because we got there right at 7:30 when they opened. They also had bbq jackfruit wraps, summer rolls and Buddha bowls to go. Lots of vegan chocolates and baked goods in a case. They have macadamia, oat and almond milk for your coffee.

Delicious drinks made with intention - Edit
Best selection of alternative/specials drinks including a turmeric chai and a high grade, unsweetened matcha tea on island! Try the oat milk!
