Avoid like the plague - Edit
I was in a hurry and made the mistake of not reading the reviews. This place was terrible. I don’t think there was a native Italian in the place. Pizza was tasteless and clearly the sauce was from a food service made with crap oil. Pushy Pakistani waiters. Zero ambience. Enough said.

No decent vegan options - Edit
The waiter told us they had vegan options but he meant we could order the regular dishes without cheese or meat, so we ate pizzas poorly tasty.

Not a very friendly place for vegan - Edit
We had gone for lunch looking for veg options, before we could settle down, the waiters were more keep on pushing us for drinks & water bottle, it was quite irritating and we just paid for one water bottle and got up

All other than a relaxing holiday lunch - Edit
We went there for a quick lunch during our sightseeing tour in Venice. The restaurant looks very nice and comfortable.

The staff was on one side very friendly, but on the other side giving a spirit of hectic and several times trying to sell more than we wanted to order.
We ordered water - the waiter tried to sell us Spritz, Wine, Beer and asked several times, if we are sure.
Ordering a Pizza, the waiter tried to offer extra toppings (charged with 2,50 Euros). Finally the waiter appeared in a rush with a plate of different desserts after we finished, to sell an extra course despite we already said, we don’t want to have something else.
It was far away from a friendly offering and we didn’t feel comfortable at all.
While still having water, the waiter came with the bill and put it on our table, despite we were not yet finished with drinking and had not yet asked for it.
This happened directly (!) after we said, we don’t want to have a dessert or a coffee and had just finished with the Pizza.
The Pizza without cheese was ok but not more. If you are looking for good Italian food and if you would like to enjoy your stay, then go to Pomodororosso beside Trattoria Canonica.
