Good Italian food consistent with the area, definitely not a vegan restaurant - Edit
The server looked at me strangely when I asked if he wanted to highlight any vegan options on the menu or if there was anything not listed on the menu and felt it necessary to clarify that “we are not a vegan restaurant“. We made good do with the variety of side dishes and salads and I did appreciate him disclosing that all of the specialty pasta was egg noodle based except the penne and farafalle- duly noted. I’m not sure if this would be some thing unique to this kitchen but interestingly, all of the vegetables were very undercooked -al dente. $220 for food for four including tip. At 8 PM it was a noisy party atmosphere inside so we asked to sit outside and it was a bit cold. Honestly, sadly the patio propane fire pit heaters were not working.

Great pizza, nice atmosphere. - Edit
Update: the last few times I’ve called they did not have vegan cheese so check before going over there.
Read moreThere aren’t a ton of places in Westchester that offer dairy free cheese for pizzas. Trattoria is a traditional Italian restaurant/bar with a small selection of (off menu) vegan options. You can use dairy free cheese on any of the pizzas, we just picked out our own toppings. The crust was really nice and the size was enough to feed two of us. We also got the vegan meatballs, which come over spaghetti squash to share. I personally wasn’t a fan of them, the texture was super mushy almost like they didn’t cook them enough. They didn’t have the stuffed peppers when we came, hopefully they add these options to the main menu in the future. I would definitely come back for the pizza again! They have enough room to seat large parties as well, which is nice.

Support their new vegan options! - Edit
For lunch, I was invited to check out their new vegan options they are trying out! They want to bring in customers of the plant-based variety, and they trusted me to give them a great review, and I sure will 👌🏼
Read moreThey are located right by Purchase College, slightly secluded. It is also quite small, with a pizzeria and bar when you enter and on the right side is the restaurant seating area. It is also pretty upscale, with staff that knows what they are talking about.
I was first served shown here first their spinach and artichoke pizza 🍕 with Daiya vegan mozz. All of their ingredients are fresh and I can truly taste it in the pizza. I don’t even eat artichokes and I REALLY liked the pizza! You can also ask for any of the pies made with vegan cheese 🧀 They even gave me some focaccia bread 🥖 to try their olive oil. Woah... I can JUST eat the bread and that too (it’s an Italian thing). I was next served their plant-based meatballs with spaghetti 🍝 squash on the bottom and marinara. The meatballs were soft and pack a lot of flavor. It doesn’t taste like meat, but it has the texture and that’s all it needed. The spaghetti squash was a nice touch 🙂 However, just wish the spaghetti squash was more like actual spaghetti. Not too much of a veggie noodle person. Then, I was given their vegan stuffed pepper 🌶 which has farro, veggies 🍅 🥦, squash, and beets and topped with the melted Daiya cheese. This is perfect if you’re here but want something more healthy. Everything was perfectly seasoned and fit well together. Besides the pizza, this was my favorite. Lastly, they served me a lemon 🍋 sorbet 🍧 that was beautifully presented. It’s more of an ice fair warning, but it was purely lemon flavored and slightly sweet. That’s all that mattered 😋
The service was also great! Everyone is very knowledgeable of the restaurant as I mentioned earlier and were very kind. Best of all, they were more than happy to serve me. Stop by Trattoria 632 and ask for these amazing vegan 🌱 Italian foods. Also, get your Barnivore 🍷 ready to have some wine as well 👍🏼
Pros: Simple, but great selection, Awesome pizza, All filling
Cons: Pricey
