Vacation vegan find in Detroit - Edit
Tasty burgers and smoothies. Tried my first cauliflower wings and was pleased I did. Can get them tossed in a sauce or with the sauce on the side. Several sauces to choose from. I had them tossed in BBQ sauce. A little pricey but the food was very good. Even my non-vegan kiddo enjoyed her burger and tater tots.

I can see why so many reviews mention the Soul Survivor Burger and Truffle Fries, they are truly amazing! I've been fortunate to get to a lot of vegan restaurants and this burger/fries combo is at the top of my list. Add in the soursop juice and deeeelicously flavorful sweet potato cheesecake and this spot is just fantastic.

Got a little food for here and some for after climbing.
I like the vibe, chill, bright and unpretentious.

Soul Survivor Stan! - Edit
Trap Vegan most definitely lived up to its hype! I tried the Cauliflower wings with both the spicy garlic sauce and the Caribbean Jerk sauce on the side, amazing. Sampled the Nachos, packed with fresh ingredients and tasty. But by far my favorite item so far was the “Soul Survivor” I might just be its biggest fan! It had me questioning if it was really vegan! Phenomenal. And I definitely spinned the block back on Friday for the Chikun sandwich ☺️

Overdue review. I’ve been at least 4 /5 times over the last few months. Every time it’s been delicious. I’ve tried almost everything at least once on the menu (excluding smoothies) and all are so good. The memo seems small but I don’t hate it bc each thing is masterful. Absolutely another reason why Detroit vegan food is top tier!!!!!

I've ate here a few times now. The food is really tasty and they are getting better about getting orders right. I just don't understand why they have non vegan options for the smoothies . The name of the place has the word vegan yet they have ingredients in some of the smoothies that are not vegan. I almost ordered one because I assumed the entire place is vegan. And it's not. That's false advertising in my opinion. It should not be advertised as a vegan place with vegan in the name of some ingredients contain cow bovine growth fluid /pus aka milk. But other than that everything I've tried so far is good, But they're out of ingredients a lot. And pretty pricey for two ppl eating fast food is nearly 50$. I enjoyed trap vegan. I ordered the soul survivor burger and it was delicious. I enjoyed the sauce on top of it and the curly fries were really delicious. There isn’t much vegan spots in Detroit but this place was a gem.

Best Vegan Fast Food!? - Edit
Visiting Detroit for a few hours, my wife and I had to try one vegan spot - I’m thrilled I chose this one. We ran into a fluke with online ordering being closed so they could catch-up with their current orders - not a problem, we just ordered at the counter and waited an extra 10 minutes. A cute little storefront with nice outdoor seating, and plenty of space for us the bring our Great Dane’s bed for him to hang with us and greet the friendly clientele. We both ordered the D.Boy, sweet potato fries, and a lemonade. I think, beyond exclaiming how delicious the food was, we remarked the most with how umami the patty tasted and how amazing the cheese was. The flavors all put together were outstanding too - I cannot recommend the restaurant more highly.

I am impressed that Vegan Trap offers vegan comfort food as well as healthy smoothies with options of adding superfoods. I love having a place to go when I want a good healthy bowl or smoothie that is made from scratch and without additives.

I wasn’t in a big hurry to try this place because there are so many good vegan burgers everywhere, but the D Boy was literally the best burger I’ve ever had. It had the perfect mix of flavor and texture and all the right ratios. I wish they had a few more side options (like Mac and cheese or onion rings), but this is the holy grail of burgers.

This place was great, food was YUM and the service was quick and friendly. Really all I need to make me happy 💖 when the desert item I ordered from online was not available when we arrived they were quick to realize the issue and offer a refund or replacement item. I got the sweet potato pie instead and it was delicious!!

I ordered food from their website and it mentioned nothing about being closed. They are not available on Sundays. The order went through with no warnings or forward ordering. I can not get I contact with anyone to get my money back as of now. I called and without fail they returned my money and were very friendly and efficient.
