We had the fried rice and the fried noodles. Both were good and cooked fresh but nothing special. Service was very friendly!

Good local option - Edit
Small place run out of the owners home I think but the food is good and all freshly made.
Read moreOpposite to what I've seen other people say I don't think the food was overpriced, I had the spring rolls and the fried rice and it is a good portion for what you pay. Also was given a passion fruit for free as dessert.
Owner was nice and though he doesn't have much English when I wanted to know what was in the spring rolls we were able to speak over Google translate ( it is tofu and mushrooms for anyone interested).

The best Bun Cha I’ve had in Vietnam! - Edit
We came here today after a long bus journey from Ha Giang and the food and service was amazing! Trang ( owner ) was so lovely and her English is so good! She pronounced all the dishes in Vietnamese helping us get better at our pronunciations! I ordered the Bun Cha and the Aubergine and it was the best spring rolls I ever ever had!

Not even 2 ☆ - Edit
I'm so sorry. But the Tofu with tomato sauce and fried mushrooms were just disgusting. The tofu was weird but the tomato sauce was even worse! Just out of a can and warmed up. The mushrooms were cut in half and not really fried, it was a joke.
Read moreOnly the fried springrolls were tasty.
We were SO disappointed and paid 290000đ. It makes me sad, because vegan food can be so delicious, but that was not.

Kind chef - Edit
I read a bad review about the chef not being there and a client not being able to eat there.... That's unfortunate.
Read moreBut I had almost the opposite experience. I arrived there a few minutes before closing time. The lights were already out and the place about to close. But the chef was super kind and reopened for me.
The food was delicious!

So apparently the chef just comes and goes whenever - Edit
I made the walk to this side of town just for the one vegan restaurant, to be met by an older gentleman and two kids. The man ushered me outside at 5:30 and through translation, found out the chef isn't there and he doesn't know when they'll be back

Tasted good, but simple and quite expensive - Edit
The food was freshly prepared for us by the family who were very nice! It was simple food and delicious, but quite expensive for what you get and for the region. Also quite sugary sauces.
Read moreI think the hand written menu, the simple food and the cute family might make it a fun experience why people would say 5 stars. But I think the cost was too much for what you get.
Still happy to support a fully vegan business over one with only vegan options.

Small vegan restaurant attached to homestay - Edit
I want to give this place 5 stars but the food just isn't there yet. The location is fantastic, so it's very convenient for those staying in the centre but the food is priced like other places who serve large portions and cook a little tastier. It's very bare looking so it seems closed but just go on inside and they will greet you warmly. The fried mushrooms need to come with some sort of sauce, at least soy, we also had the tofu in tomato sauce (also would have liked some soy or salt to add) and sauteed eggplant with garlic (tasty, and we used the sauce to add to the tofu dish).

Dishes are very small and carelessly prepared - Edit
This was the least delicious meal we had in Vietnam so far. The dishes were very poorly prepared, with little flavor and the portions were super small. The owner asked us several times to give a good review

Hidden gem in Sapa - Edit
Very cute little restaurant with a hand-written menu.
Read moreWe had fresh spring rolls (50.000 ₫) and fresh tofu with steamed rice (120.000 ₫). Both very simple but excellent when it comes to taste.
Note: The restaurant is open, even though it might look very closed from the outside.
Pros: Excellent taste, Friendly staff

Spring rolls ottimi, ambiente accogliente e servizio super gentile. Purtroppo il tofu con salsa al pomodoro risulta insapore e brodoso, salsa da rivedere. Riso con verdure pieno di olio, prezzi leggermente sopra la media, non lo consiglio purtroppo.

A wonderful vegan experience at Trang Sapa Kitchen - Edit
It is a restaurant located in the center, a 7-minute walk from the stone church and only 1 minute from Sapa lake. A special impression of the vegetarian restaurant owner with a warm, considerate attitude, asked us and made us feel good. At the request of vegan diners, although there is a ready-made menu. In Sapa, it is not easy to find a vegetarian restaurant that is really vegan but interesting and the food is so attractive.
Read morePros: In addition to the items on the menu, you can orde, Hot food delicious taste, No long wait
Cons: Simple dish arrangement, The restaurant has a simple but warm decoration, It's a bit far from the center
