Great pizza - Edit
We enjoyed the Mamma Rosa pizza with the vegan mozzarella sub.
Read moreThe wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was fun - it was hopping on a Saturday night. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
I'll definitely be back. And bonus points for having a small structure with old school video games. I was so excited to play the Pac Man game that I didn't notice what the other game was.
Pros: Good pizza, Fun atmosphere, Pac-Man!

Vegan Mozzarella for Pizza - Edit
It was so nice to find a local Italian restaurant that offers a variety of vegan and vegetarian friendly options. My friend and I were excited to try Tramonti given their offerings and they did not disappoint.
Read moreMy friend and I split a couple of fishes including their Contadina Salad (hold the cheese), Mamma Rosa pizza with vegan mozzarella, and a side of their Roasted Potatoes. Everything here was easily able to be veganized and the staff were very knowledgable about ingredients used in their dishes.
The Contadina Salad was fantastic - who doesn't love argula with walnuts and apple slices in a vinaigrette? Their roasted potato side was also a great dish although I wish we had more potatoes for paying $10.
Their Mamma Rosa pizza was definitely one of my favorite pizzas that I've tried in Santa Cruz. A wonderful thin, wheat crust with fresh toppings combined to make the best pizza experience. Although this one took a lot longer to came out (with the kitchen actually losing our order), they were kind enough to offer a slight discount as an apology for the wait.
Additionally, I loved the outdoor patio and its vibe as well. On an early spring day, it was warm enough to be outside and enjoy the fresh air and fabulous food.
Tramonti is now my go-to Italian in town and I look forward to returning one day to try more of their dishes.
