i used to go into trader joes conveniently located on Front street, downtown Santa Cruz, CA during my catch-22 years in Santa Cruz county CA. i had used to enjoy especially their carrot juice option with the green vegetables juice mixed in: accentuated health factors with chlorophyll misc etc nutrients, vitamins/minerals brought by the greens, however due to the carrot juice base it still tasted delicious as well as being nutritious. Liquid nourishment is quick and easy, on the go.

My Go-To Grocery Store - Edit
Trader Joe’s has truly been my #1 grocery store here in Santa Cruz. For the last several years, they have been the best place for me to have an affordable and sustainable transition to a plant based lifestyle.
Read moreThis location is often well stocked especially if you head in the mornings. When new items are released and made popular online, I usually never have an issue finding them in stock at this location.
Some of my go-to items include:
- fruits and veggies
- nutritional yeast
- coconut aminos
- LOTS of seasoning choices
- affordable non dairy milk
- tofu and baked options
- vegan snacks
- Taiwanese scallion pancakes
- Boba ice cream
The staff here are also very friendly and supportive. Parking is available in a lot that does get busy during peak times, so come during off hours for the best shopping experience.
