I guess I've never had good Indian food. Until now. I've always rejected going to Indian restaurants. Until now. I've never liked curry. Until now. Tofu korma was absolutely out of this world! DELICIOUS! Friendly staff. Cute atmosphere. Plenty of free parking.

They turned their back on the animals. Not vegan - Edit
They could do better if they knew how to run a business without turning their back on the animals. This was one of my favorite restaurants in the Denver area. Me and my family and friends are not coming back. Would give 1 star if it was possible.

HC won't let me rate 1 star. They are adding animals and their byproducts to their menu. They claim to still deeply care about vegan values while now profiting off of selling their dead bodies.

The best Indian food I have had in many years. Absolutely delicious. Ample serving sizes. The staff was so nice. Please consider moving to the other side of the mountains! The Indian and Nepali food near us is not anywhere near as good as this. I love spicy food and 2.5 was perfect heat. I loved being able to make my own combo with foods and sauces. This is not oil-free food. It is quite oily.

Back again! Today, we did the fried tofu and cauliflower korma along with the khatta bhindi as our main dishes. We absolutely loved both! The spice levels (3) were perfect. For appetizers, we had the pakora and gobi manchurian, and both were as delicious as we remembered! Our waiter was lovely, and the restaurant was impeccably clean per usual. Can’t wait for our next visit!
Read moreWe’re from out of town but went a couple of weeks ago and loved it! Came back to town and came back here again today because it was soooo good! Last time, we enjoyed the vegetable pakora, tofu manchurian, and veggie momo for our appetizers — so much that we did the veg pakora again and wanted to try the gobi manchurian (gobi was the winner for me). The momo was ok. I got the nariyel kofta last time and, while it was delicious, the medium-plus 2.5 spice level wasn’t spicy enough for me. My partner ordered it at 2.5 spice level again today, tho, bc it was so good last time. I went for the tofu biryani today and got it indian hot 3 spice level. It was perfect! Both times, the garlic naan was fantastic, but i got it without cilantro the second time (thanks to the soap gene). 10/10 will be back again!

We visited this restaurant after reading the glowing reviews on Happy Cow. We were not disappointed. The restaurant was very clean and our server was fantastic. We shared two appetizers, a bottle of Indian beer, and we each had an entree. The food was outstanding. I opted for the Baingan Bharta with an “Indian Hot” (level 3) spice level. It had heat but was very flavorful and all the spices came through on each bite. We will definitely try to visit again before leaving the area. If you’re in the area, you should check out this restaurant.

2. Customer service-I went to the restaurant with two other people who were elderly and have some difficulty getting around. When we arrived, one of the employees opened the door for us a while before we got to the door and later the other employee not only opened the door for us when we left, but he helped the gentleman into the truck we drove.
The employees were very kind and made sure that we were well taken care of.
3. Delicious food. Variety. Different spice levels from mild to Indian hot. Classy plate and bowls. Healthy.

I have wanted to go to Total Vegan Indian Restaurant for a long time. Today we were kind of in the area. It's just a 32-minute detour, and I am sooooo glad we went! Total Vegan Indian Restaurant was AMAZING! We ordered the Veggie Samosa, Mushroom Manchurian, Combo Briyanai, Aloo Gobi, and Nann Bread.
Read moreThe samosa was obviously homemade and perfectly fried. Not too dark and not too light. Hands down, it is the best samosa I have ever had. The mushroom manchurian was seasoned perfectly, and I could taste the flavor; this has not been my experience at other Indian restaurants. The combo biryani was so good and clearly scratch-made. While I really liked it, the mushrooms were my favorite part. So next time, I will get the mushroom biryani. My husband devoured the allo gobi and declared it the best he has ever had! (he did the same with the samoas. And the nann, oh, it was so nice to eat nann again!
The staff was attentive but not overbearing. It's just perfect, like the food. And the place was SPOTLESS!!!!
For the next few months, we will be driving between Central Park and Castle Rock on a few Saturdays each month. On those days, we happily take the 32-minute detour to eat at Total Vegan Indian Restaurant. It is the best Indian food I have ever had!
