Little country market and cafe

Read about this place on Happycow and was curious to check it out. Came for a hike in the Canyon and stopped in for a lunch in July 2014. Here's my Topanga Fresh Market review.

The market & cafe to one side of the main road through the canyon. It's painted bright yellow so easy to spot. Park right in front. It's small and very cute, has an country market vibe.

Besides the selection of groceries like fresh veggies, fruits, packaged snacks, etc (at prices higher than other markets though), its main counter features a glass deli case with a variety of prepared salads and various raw chocolates (with honey). You could buy salad by the single kind or choose a combo plate.

I got a falafel pita sandwich, $11. It was tasty, and the falafels were made in house. Also got a fresh pressed green juice, $8. My friend got a green smoothie and liked it.

Seating is out to the side in a covered patio area. Very relaxed and earthy feel.

Pros: mostly vegetarian, earthy vibe

SMOOTHIE and JUICE and CHOCOLATE! SOUP AND SALADA

I love this place. I love the Kalefornia smoothie, the juice, the raw chocolate and the special soups and salads. Cool atmosphere and nice people...just pull up a couch and have your smoothie and a kombucha!

AWESOME Healthy Restaurant & Market

My family LOVES this restaurant, best find in years. They have a rotating menu of healthy soups & salads, as well as juices & other items. Fresh produce and assorted dry foods are available. We eat there 3-5 days/week, it's that Good! Outside area to eat. Vegan & vegetarian options available. Open until 7 nightly except closed on Mondays... we wish it were open until 9.
Super friendly staff.
