They had a good selection of vegan treats. I got a red velvet cupcake and a lemon ginger sugar cookie. I thought that the frosting on the cupcake was too sweet and thick, but the cookie was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Great Vegan Options - Edit
I've had quite a few items from here- custom vegan birthday cakes, vegan cupcakes and scones. Their little storefront always has vegan cakes and cupcakes available. I like that they have really small cakes. they will decorate and/or add fresh flowers on top which is a very nice touch. They sometimes have unique flavors- once got a turtle- heath bar cake that was incredible. If you want something special order in advance. I would say they run on the expensive side. But i like to support local businesses that help us vegans out😄

Incredible Vegan Desserts! - Edit
This place is the real deal for vegan desserts! I bought a couple vegan pumpkin pies for various Thanksgiving gatherings and everyone loved them! This stands up to any pumpkin pie traditionally made with egg and the non-vegan friends were interested and amazed at how good it was!

I saw that Jamaica Cakes changed their name to Top Tier Treats. We wanted a vegan cake so just stopped in this week and got a ready made whole cake that was in the case. Here's my Top Tier Treats review.
Read moreOur cake tasted good, but the yellow frosting (fondant) was too thick, and for my personal liking, too sweet. Even when I was washing my plate at home I could not rinse off the fondant -- had to first wipe it with dry towel then rinse it off.
This place is certainly vegan-friendly. There' s always a few vegan treats available in the display case.

Jamaica has nothing to do with the Island in the Caribbean, so don't expect a Rasta bakery! Jamaica is the name of the owner. She has a really great selection of vegan cakes, you can customize from the base selections and frosting. Always stop in during holidays because undoubtedly there will be fun decorated treats ready to purchase.
