Food was not great. - Edit
Im going to be honest and say the vegan food was not good. The tofu in the Benny was plain and barely cooked, there was no spread on the English muffin, the salad was dry & the potatoes were cold. But it was nice to see some vegan options. It would’ve been really easy to make their vegan options taste a lot better, but it just seemed very lazy in their research. I would still go if I had non vegan friends eating breakfast there, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Good food! - Edit
I tried the scramble and it was good! The potatoes weren’t really crispy but other than that it was delicious! Seems like one of the only place in the area

Cute diner - Edit
Cosy spot in Lynn Valley with indoor and outdoor seating by the road. We ordered the 2 vegan options on the menu - scramble bowl and Benny. We weren’t blown away by either but it was great to see solid vegan options and the atmosphere and service was great. Offered non-dairy milk for coffee/hot choc.

I love Tommy’s! This cute, small restaurant offers a few vegan brunch items. My favourite is the vegan eggs benny served with tofu... so delicious! Could eat it so many times 🤤 always want to return

Try the Vegan Benedict! - Edit
We tried the vegan smoked tofu benedict and the vegan scramble. Both dishes really hit the spot when you're having those eggy brunch cravings, although texturally they're like night and day. The scramble was very tomatoey and the tofu was very soft, borderline silken--very unusual for scrambles from our experience, a far cry from the kind of drier, chewier scrambles we're used to. We've always loved smoked tofu and it works especially great in a benedict. The creamy vegan hollandaise was perfect, though we sort of wish the tomato and spinach were also sauteed. All in all, we would definitely go back and as out of towners are even motivated to try making the benedict at home. It is a small place with lots of street parking and a really cozy atmosphere; when we called ahead they said there is rarely a wait and if so that it wouldn't be more than half an hour.

Cons: Were there sweet vegan options?, Serves meat/dairy
