Tasty - Edit
We had the meal of the day that had a few options. Cost was COP 11,000 which is higher than average. The juice was a wonderful mix. The soups offered were chard or tomato. The main courses were varied and tasty and not the standard rice and lentils. Sometimes a little oily. Good light and excellent service.

Super vegetarian set menu for 10000 pesos - Edit
I visited Restaurant Tomate with a group of 10 others and they happily accommodated us for lunch. There were 2 veggie set menu options, comprising a juice, soup and main course. I had the veggie burger option which the staff were able to make vegan. Alternatively there was a quiche option. Nice ambiance and rustic place settings. Friendly staff too.

Healthy, original and friendly - Edit
Set almuerzo for 9000. Choice of 2 completely different menus, and they were both delicious.
Read moreThe broccoli with peanut sauce and the pumpkin pie were the best.
Great service, big portions and well flavoured.
Also bought a pan integral (avena, linaza, quinoa, salvado. Contains yoghurt.)

Tomate Verde Restaurant - Edit
It is open. I didn't check if it's still the same address, but when you drive from downtown San Agustin to the archaeological park, it's at the end of town on your right hand side.
Read moreOpen from 8am - 3pm for breakfast and lunch. Closed on Tues and Wed.
Still German owner.
I didn't see products on sale, but his set meal (almuerzo) was worth the 8000 pesos with a hearty lentil soup and a pumpkin torta served with kind of balls made of corn and rice.
Pros: Quality food, Friendly owner, No blaring music/TV
