Nice little café - Edit
There were a couple of vegan options including 2 homemade soups, a Buddha bowl, and one cake option. I had the Buddha bowl, a latte, and a milkshake. My favourite was the coffee, although it was 60p extra for oat milk. I would eat here again - I would love to try the soups and the orange and polenta cake ☺️

Okay options - Edit
Nipped in here for a quick bite to eat. Didn’t have time to order from the menu so got the sausage roll and some cake. The roll was okay, the cake had potential but it was incredibly dense and quite dry, so not the best. Could do a bit better quality wise 🍰

Nice coffee, but poor options - Edit
I'm writing this as I'm sat in here having a coffee. So far, I have had a vegan sausage roll and vegan biscoff brownie alongside my oat flat white. The sausage roll was far too herby but not the worst I've had. The brownie was dry and really disappointing, it was sat in an open fridge that customers get their drinks from which made me wonder how many people had touched it before me, this would also explain the dryness. The vegan options in the cake area are lack lustre (1 vegan sausage roll, 1 beetroot vegan sausage roll)
Read moreThe coffee is nice, and the beans come from a local roasters from horesham.
They charge 40p/60p for oat milk, which I think is steep considering a flat white is already £3.40.
I'd come back here for the nice coffee but would make sure I eat beforehand.
Pros: Nice, local coffee, Friendly staff, Cute inside
Cons: OK food, Expensive, Not many ve options

Great for breakfast and lunch - Edit
2023 update: the menu is completely different now. There are still some vegan options but I don’t think they’re as good and it’s very expensive for what you get.

I've been here many times but recently they've introduced loads of new vegan options. The avocado on toast comes drizzled with a really nice dressing, and the vegan breakfast includes a tofu scramble which has a lot of flavour. A couple of the sandwiches can be made vegan if they aren't already, they often have vegan sausage rolls in, and sometimes vegan millionaire shortbread too. There are also vegan Buddha bowls which look good but I've yet to try them. Coffee is excellent.

Nice fresh ingredients and good portion sizes - Edit
My partner and I stopped here for lunch. I had a ciabatta with roasted vegetables and houmous with fries as an add on. The ciabatta came with a small side salad of watercress, chopped cherry tomatoes and toasted seeds, and a portion of vegan coleslaw with vegan mayo. The whole plate was drizzled with a balsamic dressing. The ingredients were all really fresh and the houmous was very good and there was plenty of it in the ciabatta. I probably didn't need the side serving of fries which was quite generous and came with vegan mayo. My vegetarian partner had a sandwich with halloumi, lettuce and tomatoes. His sandwich came with the same salads as mine but veggie. He also ordered the fries and a vegan sausage roll with lovely, flaky pastry and a very traditional tasting sausage meat. While the vegan options offered weren't massively original, the food was fresh, well-made and the portion sizes were good. They also did a vegan milkshake and had vegan ice-cream flavours but we didn't get to try those because we were stuffed. I think it would be a good place to take meat-eating family members with lots of familiar options but also some nice vegan options for you!

Great food, great staff - Edit
Friendly, attentive service and some proper vegan options (eg. scrambled tofu). I had the Buddha bowl, which apparently isn't always vegan but was today. Will defo visit again!
