Bus 59A drops in front of the restaurant door. It is fast foody. Friendly, clean, convenient, great concept restaurant. Take out is easy. Order on digital screen, pick up. Dine in. Food was warm, not hot. Work with sauces. Guess it’s mix n match, not from scratch.

I ate here three times while I was in Vienna. I tried their meat lovers' and mushroom truffle pinsas, their mac n cheese and the "fish" dill and capers pita. they were all super delicious. It was easy and filling every time. I would say it's a bit pricy though, unfortunately.

I recently had dinner at Tolstoy for the first time. It's a small restaurant with a few tables, close to Naschmarkt. You order via a screen, which is quite covenient.
Read moreI had the chili sin carne (for around 10€) which was really tasty. They also have an all vegan vending machine, which is accessible around the clock (but quite expensive).
I would definitely come again. :)

Ein kleiner Laden am Straßenrand, wirkt etwas unscheinbar. Aber die Aufmachung ist wundervoll, man wird herzlichst empfangen, trotz Selbstbedienung am Schalter.

Das Essen ist schnell da und verdammt frisch und gut zubereitet.
Ich hatte Mac and Cheese, unfassbar lecker. Selbst J. fand es gut und sie ist nicht Veganer. Sie hatte Reis mit Salat und Hackbällchen, die Konsistenz der Hackbällchen hat selbst sie überrascht, mich ebenso. (Leider kein Foto gemacht.)
Zum Abschluss gab es leckere warme Getränke!

Wonderful food and beautiful menu. Sadly, all is digital so there’s no customisation such as (non spicy), chilli oil on the side, etc. They season well, but all 3 or our dishes were hot/spicy and it overpowers the other spices and flavours. Gorgeous colors and beautiful dishes. Friendly staff and free water.

Fully agree about digital menus/ordering. It's a disservice to the customer and it deletes from the experience of dining. Computers do some things very well. Replacing human interaction isn't one of them.

Probably picked the wrong day - Edit
Unlike other reviewers, we didn't have the experience of our food being prepared quickly. We waited around 20min, in an almost empty restaurant (I understand that they also deliver food). The pizza was ready after 5min, but already cold as we got to pick it up since it was put on the shelf until our pasta was ready.
Read moreAlso, this was the first time I can remember that I had pizza which was undercooked (might be my personal preference, but as mentioned I don't remember that having happened before). Portion size was rather small, especially the pasta.
Moreover, the guy behind the counter that I interacted with was rather apathetic and seemed like he'd rather be any other place. And his colleague who was making pizzas was sharing stories about his weekend with him in a way that probably everyone in the building across the street could still hear him.

The food here was exceptional. Cheap, fast and packed full of flavor. The pizza was divine and the salad bowl was filling, flavorsome and fresh. Highly recommend. Would definitely revisit.

Was hoping to go to another vegan place, but it was sadly closed on the day we visited Vienna. However this more than made up for the loss. It’s clean, it’s bright, it’s fast food without the fast food feeling. The macaroni was comforting. The ‘pastrami’ pitta tasted more like chicken than pastrami, but still great. #Veganuary

Tolstoy does great flavors and serves it all up efficiently. The pita burger with pesto was particularly good. Table space is limited and densely cozy during peak meal times. The location is about a block from the Secession Museum, for those who like a little Klimt with their coffee (or vice versa).

La pita Pastrami e il Manner Milkshake erano davvero buoni, la pita bella saporita e gustosa, il milkshake erano anni che non lo mangiavo e questo era veramente buono. La pasta era un po’ scotta e asciutta ma nel complesso buona, nel mac and cheese si sentiva davvero il gusto di formaggio. Il locale è bello e intimo.
