Not to be missed - Edit
Just great great great! Great selection of szechuan dishes and Chinese classics. Second time I went and we had to hold ourselves back from ordering the whole menu. Literally the tastiest vegan Chinese food you can find in London. Everything was a party in my mouth. The staff is also super sweet and happy to recommend dishes and combos. Make a reservation because they get busy. Come with a group of people to try as much as possible!

It was just Okay - Edit
I wish I could have loved more this place ! The dumpings were delicious however, the 2 other dishes we had were not horrible but just not too great. The vegan duck was dry and not so tasty, even though the sauce was delicious. And the fried tofu was so sour ! We thought that it is going to be sweet, but it was only sour and not so appreciable to eat. The pumpkin sweets were nice but not memorable. Quite disappointed with this place, what a shame ! But the decoration was great.

Tasty vegan food - Edit
Went for dinner with our toddler. We hadn’t booked (due to working around toddler’s nap schedule) and guy at door seemed a bit off about that but staff inside were really nice, gave our daughter special chopsticks and picked up the pen she was drawing with when she dropped it. Food came fast and tasted fresh and delicious.

Nothing compares…Tofu - Edit
A true gem that should never be hidden; simply the best vegan restaurant in London. I always have the tofish in chilli oil but the twice cooked ‘fish’ is also incredible (served with bao buns and a vegan mayo sauce); the wantons are also always a must, with a delicious garlic and chilli oil. Banging breaded mushrooms, marvellous morning glory style greens and the special friend noodles make great accompaniments to anything on the extensive menu. The staff are friendly in all sites and happy to make recommendations. Tofu Vegan - never stop ❤️

I would move to London for Tofu Vegan - Edit
I wanted to try every item on the menu!! Unfortunately I was visiting and only got two dishes, but the dishes were incredible! The waitress was very helpful in directing me to the best options based on my taste preferences. We got the soup dumplings in chili oil and the fried fish with lotus buns. I cannot stress enough HOW GOOD the food was. It reminded me of the Chinese food I grew up with in Southern California. The dumplings were perfect tasty bites and I literally drank the broth it was sitting in. The fried tofu fish with seaweed skin was very close to fish and super crispy and delicious. It has a light aioli that was a perfect accent to the dish. Highly recommend!!

Absolutely delicious - Edit
The wontons here are amazing, o definitely reccomend having them, and the began duck was delicious. It's completely vegan so have the entire menu to choose from, and the staff are friendly with good restaurant ambience. It is somewhat expensive, but typical London prices in fairness.

Lovely vegan food and waiting staff who were very knowledgeable about the menu. Make sure to try the house special sauce (we had the wontons) and get lotus leaf buns to soak up any extra!

Delicious vegan Chinese food - Edit
It’s so nice to go to a Chinese restaurant and be able to order everything on the menu. There is also a gluten-free menu with a lot of options. The food was very well prepared and some of the dishes were new to me. Special shout out to the sweet potato pancakes with chocolate sauce for dessert, which were delicious. The prices were good - not expensive for the quality.

Excellent Vegan Experience - Edit
We had the Tofu and Vegetable Rolls for starters, the Stir-fry Tofu with Mushrooms and the Stir-fry “Lamb” with Cumin for mains, and the Sesame Rolls for dessert. (The Malbec wine too). All were delicious and very different to other Chinese vegan restaurants in London. The service was very prompt. The ambiance was nice but a little too cramped. The pricing represented good value for money.

The Best Vegan Restaurant - Edit
We love Chinese food after living in China for couple of years. Since being back we never found good vegan Chinese, until now. Authentic flavours that are truly delicious. There is a dish for everyone. We absolutely loved it. This is a restaurant we will make a special trip to London for. Lovely staff and thank you.

Yummy vegan traditional chinese food. They were fully booked but still made a table for me when I walked in. I had the fried noodls with tofu and they were great and when I looked at all the food on other people's tables I wanted to come back for more!!

Amazing! - Edit
Firstly, Upper Street is one of my favourite roads in London so that's already a plus. Secondly, the food is so good!
Read moreWe ordered the sizzling tofu in house special sauce first but the waitress helpfully pointed out that it was very similar in flavour to the Peking d'ck we ordered, so we got the sizzling tofu in black bean sauce again. We also had fried noodles with tofu and they were delicious, probably the best I've had. We also had bao but they were a bit boring so we'd probably go for wontons next time. The Peking d'ck was our absolute favourite, it comes cucumber, spring onions, pancakes and plum sauce!
Pros: Varied options, Tasty food , Great service
