Best tofu ever! - Edit
I went here with my boyfriend while visiting London. The interior is just gorgeous and very artsy (they seem to be selling t-shirts and other merchandise). We were overwhelmed with the sheer amount of choice. I ended up having the wontons and my boyfriend had the mushroom dumplings alongside some Sichuan fried noodles. We were blown away. The textures, flavors, presentation: everything was fabulous. We will definitely come back 😄

Excellent food, varied menu. The tofu is homemade and all tastes lovely. Favourite meals were the home Made tofu in spicy sauce and the oyster mushrooms with salt and pepper. Will be back!

Delicious food and unpretentious atmosphere - Edit
The food was incredible! Portion sizes are incredibly generous and the service was fast and friendly. We were in a rush, which was a real shame as I'd loved to have spent a lot longer savoring the dishes. The specialty wontons in particular were enough to ensure a repeat visit. Highly recommend

Delicious food, went with a non vegan and they loved it and want to go back, a great mix of fake meat options (chickn fisc etc) and other options such as mushrooms and tofu, meaning there is something for all preferences.

Can't believe this place exists! All vegan Chinese food and it tastes so good!! We've visited Tofu Vegan twice and it's more of a celebratory meal for us as the price can get high quite fast. Other than the price everything is amazing! The service is really great and I dream of the food everyday! The wontons really are one of the best dishes and the vegan gon bao chick'n is also super good!

Try the sizzling tofu in house special sauce - Edit
We ordered the chive dumplings, stir fried veggies, wontons in chili oil, sizzling tofu and then finished with the sesame rolls. All the food was good, but we absolutely loved the sizzling tofu in the house special sauce. It had a little bit of spice, a little bit of tang, and a little bit of crunch from the onions. 🧑🍳💋

Wonderful Chinese restaurant - Edit
Before coming here I haven't had any Chinese food for years. It must have been at least 4 years since the last time I've eaten Chinese food. I can't say I ever really missed eating Chinese food but having eaten here tonight, I can certainly say I am going to miss it now.
Read moreWe started our dinner with the fried potsticker dumplings and mushroom & tofu dimsum. Both were equally delicious. We had a very hard time choosing the other dishes because everything seemed so appealing. Eventually we ordered the gong bao tofu and peanuts & sizzling tofu in black bean sauce. The tofu in black bean sauce really took me back in time before I was vegan or even vegetarian, but better. It really is a dish jam packed full of flavor. We had some plain rice on the side and I loved getting tucked in that black bean sauce with the steamed rice.
The gong bao tofu was also very tasty and the peanuts made it extra special. I especially loved finding chunky bits of ginger and garlic in there, they were pleasant little surprises. Having dinner here is highly recommended and a true feast for your tastebuds. Make sure you do not miss this one!

Delicious Chinese food! - Edit
It had been a long time since I had eaten Chinese, so I was very curious. It was so good, even better than I expected!
Read moreWe started our meal with fried pot sticker dumplings. I don't know what was inside the dumplings but it was tasty. We also had the dim sums filled with mushrooms and tofu as starter and it was good as well.
For main we ordered two dishes which we shared. We tried the sizzling fried tofu in black bean sauce and the gong bao Tofu and peanuts. Both dishes were really delicious. The Tofu of the black bean dish was a bit sticky on the outside and soft on the inside, it was outstanding! The sauce was really tasty too. What I loved about the gong bao Tofu was the peanuts in the sauce. It tasted very good with the sticky Tofu and sauce. I recommend both dishes!
The service was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered tap water and we got a refill without asking.
I really loved the food and I definitely come back when I visit London again. If you are in london don't hesitate and go for it!

I really like this place. Was tasty, authentic, and didn’t seem too pricey. Yes it’s busy and loud but no more than most restaurants in central London, and service is quite good.

Tofu Vegan - Edit
I was exhausted after spending all day walking around MCM Comic Con and didn't want to go out to eat, so I looked online for delivery places and found this on Deliveroo. Getting a Chinese takeaway is something I miss since going vegan and vegan food at the takeaways near me is nonexistent so I had to give it a try.

Delicious! - Edit
I brought some colleagues here for a work dinner and the meal was a hit. To share we ordered quite a few dishes, the favorites were the deep fried tofu starter, wontons in house sauce, assorted dim sum, and the pumpkin lantern and sweet potato roll desserts. The restaurant is loud and busy, our drinks never came nor the steamed buns we ordered but it wasn't a big deal. The food was flavorful and reasonably priced. Definitely book ahead, every table was full.

Delicious food - Chaotic Service - Edit
The food here is delicious and on the surface this appears to be a calmer restaurant than the Islington branch - it certainly feels more spacious.
Read moreHowever, our last two visits have been so chaotic that I would struggle to return. On this occasion we decided to come on a Sunday in the hope that our previously poor experience would not be repeated (again our order was incorrectly taken). However, tonight we were served parts of our main course forty five minutes before the rest. Orders were not written down and our noodles - after multiple reminders - were served to us when what little food we had left was cold. We were told we had not ordered the noodles half an hour into our meal (we had) so re-ordered them, but were then told again ten minutes later that the noodles had still not been ordered.
We received apologies and the offer of a whisky each (we didn’t accept - this is the last thing either of us wanted) but ultimately our experience here is that of stressful evenings trying to flag people down to get the food that we have ordered two and sometimes three times already.
The staff are friendly and the food is great - but our bill tonight was £113 (including a bottle of wine)For that I also expect a decent experience.

Absolutely brilliant food - everyone I’ve taken there has loved it including some asian foodies. It’s definitely a bit more pricey but well worth it in my opinion. The staff is really friendly too.
