Order the Hot and Fragrant Cauliflower! - Edit
I can't stop thinking about that cauliflower...little bites of flavor explosions! I'm going to try to make an attempt to recreate this recipe at home but know I'll never truly get that flavor again until I return to London. Everything we ordered was delicious and memorable...but did I say make sure to order the cauliflower??😉Enjoy!

I was concerned that this branch wouldn’t be as good as the original one in Islington. I needn’t have worried. Great food and great service. I love taking omnis there and blowing their minds!

Was hoping I could add what food it is to the photo captions, but no can do, so I'll put it here: special fried rice, special fried noodles, gong bao King o'ster mushrooms with cashew nuts. Also had Mouthwatering chick'n with celery in a chilli oil dressing as a starter, but that's not pictured. Dessert that is pictured is sesame rolls stuffed with red bean paste.

All vegan Chinese food - Edit
Came with a big group to try several things. The lamm was really nice full of cumin flavors but quite spicy if you are sensitive to that. The sesame red bean dessert was not very sweet at all but nice.
Read moreThe smacked cucumber was my favorite. It has some kind of mildly spicy sesame sauce which I adored. The place is great with T-shirts and bags for sale as well.

Delicious tofu and cauliflower - Edit
I hadn't been to any of their restaurants before. The service was good and I enjoyed everything I ate. Tofu in black bean sauce with a side of cauliflower. The plum juice was also really good.

Appetiser portions w/ Entree prices - Edit
Expected more for all the 5 star reviews. Food was good, not amazing, and portions were side dishes/appetiser portions priced as entrees. The duck was good, 6 piece dim sung sampler nothing special, fried aubergine wasn’t what we asked for but it was good. Service was good, decor was nothing. Felt a bit cheated when the bill came! Left feeling it’s over priced and over hyped for what it is.

Great food - Edit
"Returning to this Tofu Vegan branch for the second time proved worthwhile. The menu predominantly offers veg and tofu dishes. We began with pot stickers and proceeded to sample sweet & sour 'chicken,' crispy tofu in house sauce, and chicken chili. While everything was flavorful, the chicken chili leaned heavily on the chili side, deviating from the menu's portrayal. Nevertheless, the overall experience was satisfying, offering solid Sichuan cuisine that warrants a return visit."

Gut, Besser, Tofu Vegan - Edit

Choose your dishes accordingly - Edit
My meal here was hit and miss: some dishes were great, and some were just okay. Firstly, I'd recommend coming in a group so you can try a few things because this place is pricey.
Read moreGreat dishes: wontons in chilli oil, sweet potato cold noodle starter in sesame sauce, and mixed dim sum.
Quite good: fried fysh (recommended dish, although only 6 very thin pieces of fysh given), 'lamm' in cumin and chili.
Just okay: fried chiken pieces in dried chili. This dish was literally sitting in a bed of dried chillies with a few pieces of chikin poking out in between. I felt a little robbed to be honest.
I saw other dishes on tables that seemed to be bigger serves and therefore, better value. I personally don't like it when restaurants cut corners though and use 'fillers' to bulk up dishes and although the flavors in most dishes were very good, I've had better Chinese food (there's a really good place in Manchester actually).
Pros: Good flavors
Cons: Some dishes are underwhelming
