Uniquely awesome

Todo Un Poco has a mix of Latin and Italian cuisine, some unique options and very tasty. The menu has minimal vegan options listed but the small wait staff is knowledgeable about what mods can be made. We had the mole enchiladas with sweet potatoes and they were beyond amazing. Beers, margaritas and vegan wine available.

Pros: Amazing flavors, Knowledgeable staff, Did I mention the amazing food?

Cons: Small staff so when they’re busy they’re very busy

The owner, Marie, is very accommodating & will make you vegan dishes. There are a few veg dishes on the menu, but she’s adding more. We did a group dinner recently and she made us a special vegan menu. See photos

Pros: Owner is very accommodating, Large portions, Great service

Cons: Not many V items list on menu, but will make dish, Pricey

Elk Grove’s secret deliciousness

Todo un Poco sounds like it has an identity problem, but it really doesn’t. They feature Mexican food. And Italian food. And sometimes a fusion. So there is really something here for everyone. For the vegans, there are a handful of dishes. I had the paella, which was very good and a big serving (it comes with a side salad and bread too). The leftover will be lunch tomorrow. They have vegan Mexican dishes, and they also have a variety of pizzas. The dough is homemade daily and is vegan. No vegan cheese, but plenty of veggies. I am told the owners are vegetarian/vegan, so they understand and like making vegan dishes. I don’t know if it was just for the vegan chef challenge or all the time, but they had a dessert of fried bananas and vegan ice cream. I didn’t try this tho as the paella didn’t leave any room. Tip: check their Facebook for daily specials.

Pros: Unique dishes, Staff understands and welcomes vegan, Something for everyone, even omnis

Cons: Most dinners are in the $15-18 range
