Wow!!! Such good food and atmosphere - Edit
Okay this place made me feel like I was in a movie in Mexico City. Loved it!! They had fire dancers and a live DJ, and they served some of their drinks on fire with was such a vibe! We got the shashito peppers, guac and chips and salsa to start, and then my fiance and I shared their vegan enchilada and truffle mushroom tacos! And then I had to try their vegan desert which was a chocolate moose cake and man that was the best thing I had all night. And everything was really good! But I would come back just for that desert for sure! I did end up getting sick that same night and so did my other family member who did t eat vegan, but we both had a dish with the enchilada sauce and we both shared the chips, salsa, guac, and shishito peppers. And we both had the same fire drink. Not sure if we just ate too much or if it was something in the food but I’d like to hope it wasn’t, because it was so good. This place is expensive though to keep in mind if you stop by! Worth trying! And get the desert!!

Better than other reviews would indicate - Edit
Though the menu isn't very expensive vegan wise, our waiter was super knowledgeable about what could be made vegan and we had no problem ordering multiple dishes. One MUST try is their guacamole.....honestly the best I have EVER had. It usually has cotija cheese but you 100% won't miss it. The atmosphere is fun and loud and the place is designed for socializing. Not a great date venue due to the volume of conversations but since we had gone there with another couple on Valentine's Day, the vibe was spot on. You will likely see sports celebrities as it is apparently a very popular place for the ones who want to be seen. The entire Carolina Hurricane hockey team dined there on the night we went. The back bar seems like a perfect pick up spot if you're single and many people are dressed to the nines. We quite liked our experience but if you're going, ask to be seated in Treys' section. He knows his stuff!

Should be removed from Happy Cow - Edit
This restaurant is in no way vegan. The only thing on the menu labeled as vegan is the guacamole. The waitress said “there are lots of things we can make vegan”, but this meant swapping out the cheese for Daiya cheese - the worst vegan cheese on the market. No thanks. We paid $120 and had a Cesar salad (hubs is vegetarian so was happy with normal cheese), side of beans, salty inedible spinach, oily corn and tiny tasteless tofu tostadas. Plus it is extremely noisy. We went at 6pm on a Thursday and there was a DJ pumping tunes like it was a nightclub. Not going back. Across the road is a low price Mexican - Tocaya. mostly vegan. Much better. Go there instead.

Used to be better - Edit
Since last year they have changed the menu and removed many of the vegan options. They did however make us mushroom tacos which were very underwhelming. The guac was good but small portions and the vegan chocolate cake was not as good as it used to be. It seemed a bit dry. Highly expensive for what you get but the atmosphere is nice but the waiter was a bit rushed and not very friendly.

Amazing vegan tacos as part of a separate dedicated vegan menu, including vegan dessert. Highly recommended.

VEGAN Brunch Entrees on Saturdays & Sundays! - Edit
We just heard about this place from two of our vegan friends that recently had dinner there. I checked out the menu and saw that they offer VEGAN items on their brunch menu. We made an on-line reservation for brunch yesterday and had a delicious meal with cafe lattes made with oat-milk. I ordered the Vegan Wet Breakfast Burrito and substituted avocado slices for the tempeh bacon. My husband ordered the Vegan Breakfast Enchiladas Suiza Style. We both LOVED our meals and had extra to bring home to enjoy later.

***There is a Dress Code for this restaurant and I wouldn't recommend bringing any small children.***

Better restaurants out there - Edit
We went here for my birthday in January and while some of the food was pretty good, it was hit or miss and a little bit disappointing, overall. I asked for the vegan menu, since I'd heard they had a separate menu, but was bummed out to hear they discontinued that and even removed some of the vegan options (like the ceviche). The enchiladas and drinks were the best part of the experience. The restaurant itself looks really nice, but the blaring music (that didn't totally feel like it fit the atmosphere) kinda killed the ambiance for me. I don't think it's a place we will be returning to, especially for the price. If you want some truly great food as an alternative to this place, Casa Terra is top notch and way better!

Elitist and racist staff - Edit
I hate leaving bad reviews, but this place left a terrible taste in my mouth. A couple of friends and I went here one night and a couple of bouncers almost didn’t let us in because we didn’t fit the “image” they were looking to achieve. This should’ve been where we walked away, but instead we went in anyways after the bouncer hesitantly told us we could “give it a shot and see if the hostess asks us to leave.” The hostess was extremely friendly and gave us no trouble whatsoever. We ordered and ate our food (which we all agreed was simply “okay,” and definitely not worth the price) with no issues. After paying, however, one of the bouncers (who may have actually been a manager) came over and offered what he considered to be an “apology” for not letting us in. He finished his “apology” by commenting on my beard and saying that after his tour in Afghanistan he “looked like a ****ng Arab too.” He had clearly been waiting to see if we would actually pay for our meal, and only decided to “apologize” to us once we did—only to seal the deal with a racist joke. It was a surreal encounter and we will never be back. Be warned that you may be turned away if you don’t look how the bouncer decides you should look.

Worth a trip to Scottsdale! - Edit
Best mole enchilada ever. Incredible space that feels like it could be a modern art museum. Super popular and hopping, with an LA vibe. This is the second branch, with the first in West Hollywood. So happy to have a separate vegan menu. Coconut sashimi was beautiful and very tasty with a little spicy kick. Multiple vegan deserts including a decedent churro volcano with caramel coconut ice cream. Service was impeccable. There was no entertainment when we visited on a Tuesday night. Not inexpensive but great place for a special occasion or special treat.
