An absolte delight - Edit
Blown away by the vegan options, almost everything is vegan or has a vegan option. My carnivore friend actually spotted and chose that we come here, and she said she’s never seen the word vegan written so many times.

Great Food Great Service - Edit
Sweet little cafe with vegan options on display and labelled clearly. I had a satisfying breakfast before heading out to explore Adelaide. Loved the Date and Chai Cupcake.

Horrible - Edit
My friend's coffee was yuck. Maybe it was because they don't filter the foul tasting Adelaide water. And/or just horrible coffee. I ordered a pot of tea very overpriced at $6.60 but it never arrived. I asked over and over again for it and in the end we walked out $6.60 out of pocket and no tea. Zero stars.

Hi Simon,
Read moreWe are so sorry you had this experience. We truly value our customer service and do not want this to reflect poorly on our small business. Our large tea is actually $5.00 and we believe these are reasonable prices for 12 oz specialty teas. As for the “Adelaide water,” we used filtered water only. If you are ever back in Adelaide we would love to make up your experience. Hope to see you again soon and all the best.

Saddened - Edit
Toast cafe has reopened recently with new renovations but a complete menu change. I used to come here for easy comfort food but now they're very boujee, fancy, and expensive. Would only recommend if you're in the mood for small food for a high price.

Great Pies, Great People - Edit
I've never met more friendly and helpful staff. Ordered a vegan sweet potato topped pie, vegan spicy Mexican pie and a vegan soy mocha. My food came out a little late so as a sorry they gave me a free vegan muffin! Food was amazing, but the staff were what really made my day; they were just so kind and lovely.
