Good Vegan Fast Food! 🍔🥦🧅🧄🥑 - Edit
I have been here a couple times before & it was take out due to Covid-19, but this time I finally sat & ate in the establishment. There’s not much seating tbh & the layout isn’t that good. They also do not serve fries which is bonkers! I had a very good burger though & opted for the potato salad. I want to go back & try more stuff on the menu. They have daily specials too so maybe my next visit will change my rating to 5 stars!

Not as expected. - Edit
I would not say it was bad, however, there was very little food, with very little effort put into making it, and it was overpriced. I was very excited, but was very much let down and would not go here again.

Goodish - Edit
The sunshine burger was pretty good! Mac and cheese didn’t have bread crumbs and was very paprika tasting, the potato salad was very very Dill and almost raw potato.

Stopped in for a bottle of water, couldn't resist trying out a grilled cheese sandwich, which was not regrettable. Delicious. Cute little punk vibe with a counter and two tables outside. Vegan operated.

Average fast food - Edit
Not much to say: it was fast, tasty, (probably?) comparatively cheap, and relatively original/hipster. I didn’t like the amount of disposable plastic and paper that they used, and the place felt a little claustrophobic, but it wasn’t anything too disturbing. I paid $21 for a smaller sandwich and a cup of soup.

Besides the amazing food, the staff is super cool! I'm sad that fries are no longer available for purchase, but I still love Toad Style. My favorite burger is the Sunshine Burger (I loooove avocados). Good get you one...or two!

Great tasting food, love how condiments are made from non dairy and taste just like ones made from dairy for starters. Just overall great place to get vegan on the go.

FUEGO! - Edit
Toad Style was incredible. On my visit to NYC I was in awe of all of the plant based options available to me. Toad style was 12 min walk from the spot I was staying at in Brooklyn. I creeped over with my boyfriend into this small nook offering a solid, home style menu.

Buffalo Cauliflower Quesadilla
We ate in-house and had some canned lemonades that were too good. The nachos were delicious. The creamy cheese they’ve made for it is too good. My absolute favorite was the sunshine burger. My god, such a good burger. It was perfect fusions of flavor. I wanted to get another one honestly. The flavors in the quesadilla were great, in honesty we were not too fond of the preparation of the cauliflower. I’m assuming it’s boiled then pan sautéed, which wasn’t too flattering in the cheesy and flimsy quesadilla. Maybe a more stern style of prepping the cauliflower would be more delightful. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it all. Even finished the quesadilla as left overs the next day. ^_^
Awesome spot.

THIS WAS THE RESTAURANT THAT MADE ME DECIDE TO GO VEGAN! - Edit
They are a great introduction to veganism. I enjoy the burgers, jackfruit but honestly the first meal I had was an asparagus soup. I said if could eat that then I could go vegan. The atmosphere is inviting so great for lunch dates. I would suggest the fried cauliflower, any burger and the fries!

Best waffles in Brooklyn! - Edit
Delicious breakfast and lunch foods. Waffles, vegan scrambles, breakfast burritos, sandwiches, burgers, grilled cheese, etc. Lots of gluten-free options (even the waffles). All sandwiches can be made gluten free by making them into "tacos" (corn tortilla) or by being served as a salad. Everything is made in house and is free from GMOs and palm oil. While I love soy, many people have soy allergies, so it's nice that almost everything is soy-free, too. It's a hole in the wall, but the food is worth it.

100% vegan. Had a delicious sandwich on a pretzel bun and great potato salad. They offer any if the sandwiches served on top of a green salad for gluten-free folks, my partner was very happy with theirs.

Small but wonderful - Edit
This place is fantastic. The food is excellent, the music they play is great, the wait is reasonable for someplace so small. Really the seating is my only issue, but they package things to go so well that even the sauces don't leak through, so getting things to go is not at all a problem and certainly not worth deducting stars over. Absolutely 100% recommend, especially the gyro.

Almost Perfect - Edit
The food is amazing, the selection is terrific, the vibe is just right and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately with the place being very small it means the kitchen and tables are basically right next to each other and you walk away smelling like the grease grill for the rest of the day. For that reason, I’d say order take out/ delivery and your experience will be top notch!

Punk Rock/Martial Arts and Vegan Food - Edit
Vegan comfort food in a punk meets martial arts themed restaurant in Brooklyn. While this might not sound shocking to you the food will shock you with its piquant, sweet, and savory dishes!
Read moreFood****
When people hear the phrase “comfort food” they tend to associate it w/ unhealthy—Toad Style is only half that (fries and other fried foods). There is a good amount of healthy, superfoods on this menu. We ordered the Sunshine burger, which features Toad Styles own house made patty (refreshing in the age of BEYOND and IMPOSSIBLE), arugula, cashew dill cheese (amazing), avocado, sweet chili mustard, and served on a pretzel bun and a side of fries—definitely a winner (Side note: ketchup is house made and very good but you must request this as they do not have it out and we accidentally dumped some hot sauce on our burger). Additionally, we tried the Tofu Scramble from their brunch menu (served until 4pm daily!)—made with Burmese tofu and topped w/ Hollandaise sauce and veggies. The scramble was light yet creamy and delicious!
Atmosphere***
The walls are papered in vintage martial-art movie posters from the ’70s and ’80s, the 14-seat restaurant is appropriate for all (families, couples, etc.). Not a huge space but adequate amount of seating and pleasant/fun atmosphere.
Service***
Counter service and you bus your own tables and dependent on your beliefs you may like or dislike that but I like how I feel when I help the restaurant.
Price$
Great food at an excellent price!
Pros: Large portions , Inexpensive , Delicousssss
Cons: Area isn’t the greatest (rundown)
