A MUST TRY - our favorite restaurant in all of Indy - Edit
Service: 5/5, Quality: 5/5, Value: 5/5
Read moreVegetarian/Vegan Options: 4/5
Overall this is a gem of a restaurant! They have exceptional food that are super FRESH and are LOADED with flavor from high quality ingredients. They have a large selection of vegan/vegetarian options. Service each time has exceeded expectations and the price you pay for the quality of food is exceptional.
My favorite taco is the NoNoNo (short for No dairy, no meat, no gluten) though everything I have tried has been delicious.
I have no issue recommending this restaurant. Whether you want some meat or vegan options, they've got you covered! We frequently suggest this restaurant when we have out of town company and it is always a hit.
((Note that my score averages to 4.75 which I historically round up to 5, though happy cow maxes this at 4 due to not completely vegan menu. While I think that is a good rule of thumb for reviews without criteria, my review has criteria. This is a 5/5 restaurant))

Best ever vegan tacos! - Edit
Better than the ones we’ve tried in Puerto Vallarta. If you can only get one it needs to be the hibiscus taco. 10/10 S tier taco

Great tacos outside of Mexico - Edit
There are places in Mexico that have topped this for me, but I haven't had a vegan taco (mole in particular!) that was this tasty in the US. Indianapolis is lucky to have a place like this! I tried the jackfruit, mole, and hibiscus taco, and of the three I'd say the mole was the best and the jackfruit did the least for me (I'm half convinced jackfruit-as-meat-substitute is a trend that should and will die, and I haven't yet had the jackfruit that convinced me otherwise!).

Fantastic Vegan Tacos!!! - Edit
Wonderful service and excellent food! I had the nonono, the hibiscus flower. And the jackfruit asado! All three were delicious. I think the hibiscus flower was my favorite. The hibiscus tea was also very flavorful! Indubitably coming back!

Good - Edit
I tried the NoNoNo Taco, Jackfruit Asada, and Hibiscus Tacos. All of them were good, but the Nonono was the best of the three. None of them were excellent or mind-blowing for me.
Read moreThere isn’t an option for a side order of rice and beans, so I tried the $10 rice and beans. It was good.
I’d give this place a 7/10. Good but not amazing. Worth a try if you’re in the area and craving tacos.

3 vegan tacos option s, amazing vegan birria, some vegan entrees. Really cute patio and nice inside. Really good service, fast. Average prices for vegan food! Similar vibe to 3 in 1 on north side, but nice outside.

Good vegan/vegetarian options clearly marked on menu. The staff was incredibly friendly and the building was super cute. The chocolate cake was some of the best I’ve ever had.

We have gone to this cute place since it opened. It is clean, bright, and cheerful. There are so many vegan options! They make the guacamole to order. They have started having Sunday brunch every other Sunday and it is fantastic!

Once we tried this place on our Indy trip we didn’t go anywhere else for dinner. Super tasty vegan options. Tlaolli has unique and delicious flavors in their sauces that are distinct from the usual Mexican restaurant flavor. Some of our favorites were the tofu mole taco, hibiscus taco and tlaolli bowl. The bowl could have been bigger since there was no meat in it. The birria tacos were good but very greasy, which is the nature of the dish. The homemade drinks that we tried we great as well; we had a hibiscus tea and a fresh fruit smoothie. We ended meeting the owner who was very kind. He told us that the restaurant has been receptive to customers asking for vegan options and over time has expanded their vegan options.

One of my favorite places in Indy from a local. A must try!! - Edit
I love Tlaolli. I'd eat here every week if I could. The owner is very friendly and the vegan options are extensive. The patio and atmosphere is very nice, they have a nice garden and umbrellas, the painting inside and outside the building is cute and quirky. My favorite menu item is the hibiscus taco but I've never had anything here I didn't like. The Monica's chocolate cake is vegan too and so decadent.

I love going here when I can. Im not that close but its so worth it. The hibiscus tacos were new for me but very good I was impressed. There are a decent amount of vegan options and even vegan dessert sometimes. Call ahead of time to verify if on the menu. Its a great place to go if you have friends or family who aren't vegan.

Had to go back twice when visiting Indy! 4 vegan taco options, we absolutely loved the jackfruit taco. The hibiscus taco was very unique and tasty. The black bean soup was OUT OF THIS WORLD. The vegan cake was simple, fluffy and sweet. An absolute must-try for vegans in indy.

I am so glad we finally decided to check this place out! As stated, they have several vegan-friendly items on the menu (and most veg ones can be made vegan). Spousal unit got the ECDC torta, and I got a trio of tacos-soyrizo & poblano, jackfruit, and hibiscus flower. While waiting for the order, they gave us a taste of the charro beans, which were amazingly delicious. The tacos were some of the most delicious tacos I have ever had. Soyrizo & poblano was my fave, but I would get them all again. Whatever they do to the jackfruit is magical. I have not had many tortas before, but I cannot imagine one being better than ECDC (husband reluctantly let me have a bite). We cannot wait to make it back here, and try all the other vegan goodness. I didn’t get their names, but the two people working (one may have been owner/chef?) were kind and helpful. There are just a few seats currently in this tiny spot, but they said there would be more soon (there was some construction going on out back). I give this place the highest review HC will let a not strictly veg place receive!
