Serves meat, vegan options available. Noodle bistro and small Asian food store, just off the main drag from the beach. Menu offers a large selection noodles plus other Asian dishes. Very casual. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-9:00pm.
I don't know. The staff was friendly upon opening and helped me decide. And when would the passion fruit tofu, called? Lilikoi Tofu (pictured)
Excellent!
Beware- not vegan: Listed as having vegan options on this site but we were just there and they told us everything is made with fish sauce so even dishes with tofu are not vegan.
Highly recommend the Lillikoi tofu - it was incredibly fresh and delicious. After days of eating mediocre food at hotel restaurants, this was a breath of fresh air. Also got the yakisoba which wasn’t a traditional version, but also super tasty. Everything has a little Hawaiian flare and it works. Not the healthiest cuisine per se, but a definitely a treat!
Not as many options as I thought. The curry has fish in the paste and the veggie broth has fish. However, the vegan Pad Thai was DELICIOUS. And a ton of food.
Wasted an hour looking for vegan food in Kona. Ended up here only to find out it really isn't vegan friendly at all. Macadamia crusted tofu, tempura sweet potatoes, pad Thai, and curry are the only vegan options. Sad. This shouldn't even be listed on Happy Cow. It offers less vegan than a regular Asian restaurant would.
Arrived to Kona late, no luggage, cranky, tired and hungry. Stumbled into this place in hopes to find something to eat since everything shuts down at 9:00 and it is 8:45. They greeted us with a smile and when we shared we are vegan they shwed us ALL the choices n the menu. Almmost anything could be made vegan. We had the most amazing Green Papaya Salad made without fish sauce and a huge steaming bowl of Pho that was to die for. We have been back again and the service and food was/is consistant. What a great gem on Kona
