Amazing *vegan* tea time! - Edit
Aside from the library of teas to choose from, I had a glorious vegan blueberry scone with caramelized pear jam and a vegan baby street corn tapa which came topped with vegan cotija and vegan manchego cheese (omg!!). I used to love elotes, and this tapa took me right back. I have no idea how they do it but the vegan cheeses they use are truly unparalleled. I don't think anyone would have known this dish was vegan if they weren't told in advance.

They make a point to offer something for everyone, and have lots of creative, not-basic, vegan options. I encourage anyone looking for a special plant-based outing to try it out!
For the record, HappyCow won't let me leave a 5-star review, but I really believe Tipple & Rose deserves the fifth star for their compassionate menu.

Vegan Afternoon Tea - Edit
Tipple & Rose offers a traditional tea service by reservation only, in addition to walk-in regular meal service. My family made advance reservations for the vegan high tea menu. They also offer a separate kids menu than can be vegan which was much appreciated by us.
Read moreFrom beginning to end, everything was excellent. The food, attention to detail, service, and of course the tea, were all great. I especially liked the jackfruit sandwiches. They really made sure we had the same tea experience as non-vegans. Accompaniments included vegan clotted cream and lemon curd for our scones, and even vegan honey.
We will definitely return!
