Very good!

Chips, guac & salsa and tacos! Got the potato tacos, enough to fill me up. I appreciated the separate vegan menu

Amazing Art

There are a few vegan options, including tofu fajitas. What’s awesome, though, is all the artwork made from found materials (trash). Really impressive!

Pros: Artwork, Tofu fajitas , Outdoor seating

Best vegan fajitas

This Tacos now has a vegan section of their menu! It's delicious. We tried the tofu fajitas which were amazing. The spices they used are the best I've had on a fajita.

We also got the Tacos de Nopales
Which were also good but not as flavorful. It's a smaller plate than the fajitas, perfect if you're not too hungry.

The agua frescas are delicious. We tried the strawberry and watermelon.

Pros: Vegan menu items, Recycled garden

Aguas Frescas

The nopales take me back home. Tio’s is one of the few places that serves nopales. They have a limited vegan menu that consists of:

Tacos de Nopales
Tostada de Nopales
Tacos de Calabazacita
Tacos de Papa
Sopes de Papa
Veggie Tofu Fajitas

There are also other items that have vegetarian options.

The salsa bar is fully stocked between red and green chile.

But what really stands out to me is their agua frescas. On a hot day these drinks are quite refreshing.

I would give this place five stars but unfortunately they serve meat. So four stars it is. If you are ever in Riverside, I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying the scenery.

Not Impressed

My omni husband wanted a chicken burrito, so I tried to find someplace we could both eat.
Went to Tio's where there was a note under the Vegan section that said "(Vegetarian option Not Vegan)", so I asked if the tofu fajitas were vegetarian or vegan. The person helping us at least admitted she didn't know and went to find someone else.
I ordered the potato tacos and my husband ordered a chicken burrito supreme.
The service was fine, but the food was very basic and not very flavorful.
So disappointing. Won't go again.

Pros: Vegan menu section

Cons: Small portion, No flavor

I love my own menu

Full menu for the omnis, but a (small) vegan menu for us. I opted for the Tosada de Nopales, which would’ve been plain on its own, however they have a tasty help yourself salsa bar, which I used to jazz it up. Love the Cali Mex decor, and surrounded by Martin Sánchez’s art make for a quirky, memorable meal. #Veganuary

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Great staff, Premises

Cons: Need description of vegan options

Yummy Vegan Options!

Today we went to Tio's Tacos and I love that they have a dedicated vegan menu right next to their regular menu. They offer several options but I got there vegan Tacos de Papa. They were so delicious and filling. It's always nice when an establishment has their vegan menu right out front and center so you don't have to wonder how they feel about it.

Pros: Several vegan options, Vegan menu on their board, Lots of folk art to see

Cons: Area where you order is a small space
