Not Vegan chef told us all dishes cooked with fish/meat/egg oil - Edit
Chef came out & told us all the tofu is fried in fish oil & they use the same egg/fish based sauces & stocks on all the food. They said as a small kitchen it’s the only way they can do it. So while they are considerate it’s important you don’t eat here if you are vegetarian or vegan.

I've been eating at Tin for years and love it. They offer quite a few vegan options and they do not disappoint. Last night I had had the vegetarian bun bo hue (which is vegan) and loved it. A unique thing they do here is add pineapple to this soup, which was a nice change for me. The vegetarian spring rolls are still amazing, I can eat an order of these daily...this is a huge portion and the tofu is marinated with perfection. The pho is also delish and there are many more vegetarian/vegan options available on the menu. Below is my review from when I lived in SF.

Excellent vegan options, especially the vegan spring rolls and the vegan pho. The tofu in the spring rolls has a unique flavor compared to other Vietnamese places, but I love it. And the broth, tofu, and veggies in the pho are all flavorful as well.
