Wonderful cake - Edit
The Jaffa Cake was perfect and the tea too. My friend, an omni, absolutely loved the lemon raspberry cake as well. I look forward to returning regularly!
Read moreUpdate August 2024: No longer vegan. They even charge extra for non-dairy milk in hot drinks! Most of the food menu is not vegan and though they still have a large selection of vegan sweet things, it is overpriced (nearly £6 for a sliver of cake to take away) and disappointing. I want to continue to support this business, but feel alienated by them!

Cons: Charges extra for plant milk, Decreasing vegan options, despite opening as a veg, Overpriced

Had vegan pastries and alternative milk options. However for a pastry and medium coffee takeaway it was £7.40!!

Used to be a lovely cafe - Edit
How very disappointing to hear they are no longer a vegan cafe. Here is my previous 5* review:
Read moreWe stumbled across this and ended up getting breakfast wraps and peach macarons. Both were great (albeit not cheap). The wrap was much better than we expected and super filling too. It had a nice level of spice so wasn't boring or bland like some breakfast wraps might be. We'll definitely come again!

Good for breakfast or lunch - Edit
I came for lunch on a quiet Sunday. Had the falafel sandwich which was tasty. The menu is a little limited and I thought the baked goods were a bit expensive so didn’t try any. Could be nice for a late breakfast.

Nice cafe - Edit
Really enjoyed lunch here - loads of vegan cake/croissant options as well as drinks and mains. Nice quiet spot with outdoor seating, but vegan options aren’t actually labelled on the menu so make sure to ask!

Gone downhill - Edit
We went in thinking it was still vegan, but sadly now sells dairy and eggs. Lovely staff still, but 16 quid for 2 hot drinks and 2 little cake squares?! Quality and quantity not what it was when it was a vegan place.

What a Secret Vegan Gem this place is! - Edit
We were greeted warmly by the staff who were very polite and pleasant to chat too. The cakes on display look divine, but we wanted a hot meal so decided to go with the aubergine lasagne and wasn’t disappointed! We had banana pancakes for afters, although we never thought we would have a “tower” of pancakes... these were very delicious just like the lasagne! We don’t live in London, but do come reasonably regularly, so will be making a beeline for this place next time we visit our relations... and will be taking them, too! Absolutely thrilled that we have found this place and can’t wait for another visit. Well done to the staff at Time2Chill, you are brilliant and we love your café! Xx

Can’t wait to go again - Edit
Absolutely love this cafe! The most friendly and kind staff who are lovely and really welcoming. It’s such a delight being in a fully vegan cafe - especially somewhere like here where there is so much amazing choice! From hot meals and drinks to takeaway food and cakes etc. Everything we had was beyond delicious and we really felt comfortable and welcomed there.

Got half a breakfast for the full price - Edit
I went here with my friend and based my decision of taking the vegan breakfast on the pictures shown here. I was a bit underwhelmed, when the breakfast came with half of everything minus the avocado (had run out, and wasn't charged for) and butter.

Brilliant Brunch - Edit
This cute little cafe is in a convenient, easy to find location. Great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot before or after some chill time at Ally Pally right opposite. I received a warm welcome from the two young women working there. I asked for the couscous salad to be adjusted to vegan friendly (without feta) as the feta wasn’t labelled vegan but now looking at their Instagram I think it may have been ‘vegan feta’ as a suggestion maybe this could be stated clearer on the menu as I also see some confusing options on the just eat website such as ‘sausage’ instead of ‘vegan sausage’ etc. I think this would be of more help. I was pleasantly surprised to find they have an outside seating area at the back of the shop away from the main road and I experienced quick service. I paid £16 for a couscous, rocket, sun-dried tomato salad and a spinach, vegan halloumi, chilli jam bagel which I feel is a little on the pricey side but nevertheless I will be back for another one of those delicious bagels! To top it off they have a food hygiene rating of 4. I recommend a visit if in the area for sure 👍🏼
