bring $40 to get a full belly

If you like to blow your money sometimes, come here. highest quality small portioned food, prepared with the most care and consideration. very nice looking place.
ten dollar ramen soup was divine , but it was only 1/3 of an expected size.

Dissapointed

Very disapponted after eating some, though creative, sometimes tasty, meals.
Almost everything charged with animal abuse.
Only 4 vegan dishes and few vegan versions.
It's the same violence as in every BBQ place.

Yummy, but limited vegan options

Sadly not as vegan-friendly as advertised, especially by the “plant-based” text under their logo. Nonetheless, the ceviche was the best vegan ceviche I’ve ever had. Got one drink, one appetizer and two mains for 2000 DOP. Probably the best semi-creative vegan food in Santo Domingo.

Pros: Beautiful restaurant

Cons: Expensive

Expensive & small portions

Great location in the Colonial Zone. The menu seemed to be reduced from what I read online. Not sure if that was due to the pandemic. Portions were very small for the price. My girlfriend and I were eaten alive by mosquitoes inside the restaurant. Had to move to a table outside. Wouldn’t say that I would be in any hurry to return

Pros: Small menu

Cons: Expensive , Mosquitoes inside

Vegan options in DR!

So excited to find a plant-based restaurant in the Dominican republic! Time has a great variety of options but they need to add icons to their menu to help individuals distinguish allergic components my daughter had a vegetarian ravioli dish which was amazing - Ravioli de Remolacha. Also had Tacos Suaves en Escandinavas which can be made vegan if you ask them to leave off the cheese crumbles on top. I had the Fideos de Arroz which had curry and vegetables and entirely vegan. The drinks were also delicious and lovely. We were eager to try the gnocchi, but they did not have it.

Pros: Solely vegetarian and vegan, Beautiful place and decor, Great location

Cons: Menu only in Spanish at this time, Staff only spoke Spanish

The best vegan food in the Caribbean

This is the place to go if you want really good vegan food and don't mind paying a bit for it. I had the vegan tasting menu, 5 dishes for 30usd. The best by far was the vegan ceviche. I really recommend this place. The only thing that was a bit sad was the dessert menu.

What a disappointment

I'm vegan and I told our servers that i get sick if i eat dairy or eggs. They gave me a dish with dairy in it even though it says vegan on the menu. I always double check and they said it was fine but after i started eating they came back to tell me it has animal's milk yogurt in it. The portions are tiny. The food was ok. Not impress. The only plate worth it was the rice noodles even though not fulfilling. The bill was expensive for the amount of food (~US$75). A water bottle was $200 pesos. Usually is about $15 pesos in other places. Dont order the chickpea burger because is the size of a mini muffin. Definitely not coming back again. What a disappointment.

Cons: Expensive , Flavorless, Small portions

Best Restaurant In Santo Domingo

This restaurant may be quite overpriced. And so if you are someone who will feel bad if you do not get exactly as much quality as you pay for then you may not want to go here. But as a chef myself, and a paleo-vegan, I find myself constantly complaining about food and sending it back. Most restaurants simply are not good, especially in this country. However, I really cannot complain about this restaurant. I have even gone back. The food is extremely healthy and energizing. It is real culinary art. It tastes great, and I do not think anyone will disagree. Its just that the prices are high and the portions are small. But it is one of the only restaurants I trust here.

Pros: Healthy, Gourmet Culinary Art, Dependable

Cons: Overpriced

Creative, Delicious and Great Ambiance

This vegan-friendly Zona Colonial newcomer is a must visit. A diverse menu with uniquely prepared highly flavorful plates that emphasize a wide variety of vegetables, herbs and spices. Vegans, try the Wonton Abierto. You won't be disappointed. Situated on one of the most beautiful corner plazas of the city, the indoor or outdoor seating will provide a nice ambience for your creatively prepared, delicious meal.

Pros: delicious and creative , ambience , diverse vegetable focus

Cons: you will pay $, portions small but sufficient

luxurius and small portions

Very nice dining place with very small portions compared to the price. Tried the dumplings and the springrolls and enjoyed them both. Not a place for those trying to eat economic.

Fine vegetarian dinning

Don't expect to get full here. It is not a place to eat a lot. It id a place to, as mh friend says, "eat art". The food is creative, well presented and very tasty. The ambiance is very sophisticated, and the experience, as hou may imagine, it's expensive. If you have the money give it a try. It is quite an experience.

Pros: Good ambiance, Good service, Creative food

Cons: Expensive, No parking, Small portions
