I took a mix of fake meat which was a lot for one (lady offered to give 2 pairs of chopsticks). It gave me a good overview and I can recommend the brown sauce « meat » and fake duck.

Very cheap but good street food - Edit
It was the closest vegan place from where I stayed so I wanted to try it out especially since it bears my name.

They guy who eventually came around after having me wait for a while didn't speak a word of English. Nothing on the menu was in English and no prices (as far as I remember) were indicated on the sign. I couldn't even read my name anywhere that's why I also walked by first.
Nevertheless, since everything is in Cantonese, I couldn't grasp an idea of anything. I had pretranslated a text in Cantonese on my phone for such occasions that I don't eat any animal products detailing all the common ingredients I can't eat and that I only eat plant-based. He nodded friendly but I think he didn't understand my concern, as the name indicated vegetarian so I just wanted to make sure it was all vegan. Anyway, I trusted it was all vegan, as HappyCow indicated.
I didn't have any cash on me so after pointing at things I wanted I tried to tell him that I would go to an ATM to be able to pay. I was lucky that at this point in time, a woman was waiting in line behind me and interpreted everything between the owner and me.
If only I had known it was that cheap I would have tried a lot more. But as the guy was filling up a box, I realized he would have had difficulties to close it, so I didn't overeat at the end. I paid like 72 HK dollars for a stuffed box full of delicacies.
If you truly want to immerse yourself in the culture with language barriers, that's the place to go 😂

香港仔無乜素食選擇，好彩塵世中尚有一小片樂土，讓小蕉🍌我稍作喘息。
位於角落嘅一個小舖位，麻雀雖小但五臟俱全，有齊款齋滷味有小點心有自選餸飯有湯，WFH或者放假喺屋企又或者喺附近返工放飯，攞個飯盒或者飯袋落嚟買個飯就方便快捷又好味😋👍🏻。

今日嘅餸有咕嚕素肉、蘿蔔🥕、南瓜🎃、翠玉瓜🥒同雲耳菇🍄等等（唔記得咁多），我就揀咗咕嚕同蘿蔔，因為食過幾次啲蘿蔔都ok，另外仲加咗幾乎每次都會加嘅咖喱魚蛋🍢😋。
咕嚕調味幾好，正常咕嚕味，有菠蘿🍍，甜甜酸酸幾開胃🍋，不過略嫌素肉炸皮有啲厚同埋口感一般🤔，可以再薄脆
蘿蔔調味清得嚟幾好味，今次亦無渣，幾好☺️
咖喱魚蛋咖喱調味適中魚蛋亦彈牙有咬口，中意小食嘅我私心推介😆👍🏻。

其實覺得幾抵食，質素又唔差，份量夠食，推介行開附近要食飯嘅素食朋友🌱去食下，醫肚一流🤤。記住用自備餐盒呀～😙

Great food but nothing in English - Edit
This is a great little place if you’re after a cheap takeaway meal, however, it is all in Chinese and the person behind the counter didn’t speak any English. Which is fine if your desperate - can always point and hope for the best but we definitely didn’t get the best out of this place! That said, we were both full after one portion of vermicelli noodles and 2 different kinds of vegetable rolls each - all for just under 50hkd! I just wish there was an English translation or that I could understand Chinese :(
