Didn’t actually eat here, but… - Edit
We had a picnic lunch down at the pier and needed to use the bathroom. The bathroom at the pier had homeless people sleeping on the ground inside the bathroom and blocking the access on the outside too, requiring you to climb over them. Given some positive reviews for Tiki Tacos, we thought we’d order a taco so we could be a paying customer and use their restroom. No such luck. Customers are expected to use the restroom at the pier which is overrun with homeless. Coupled with the fact the cashier was vaping when we came in, we did not place an order and left. I was conflicted to leave a review since we didn’t order anything but felt compelled to share the experience which caused us to not order anything.

easily adapted taco options - Edit
If you’re vegan, you can do any of the three taco options they have, just ask them to leave off the cheese and sour cream. They had mixed veggies, spicy veggies, or the marinated tofu tacos.
Read moreI got one spicy veggie taco and one marinated tofu taco. I immediately regretted my decision when I saw how big the tacos were, I totally should have just gotten one! However, these are a great value for the size. Just start with one and you can always order another if you want!
They have hot sauce (no mild, only hot) and I didn’t end up using it because both of my tacos were really spicy and flavorful.
Many times marinated tofu things at non-vegan restaurants are bland but this was not the case at Tiki Tacos, the tofu was coated in marinade and was really hearty!

Super tasty tacos! - Edit
So good! Tacos are like $7 each and we thought they would be a lot smaller, bit they are quite large and full! We are vegan and we're pleasantly surprised that they had a tofu taco and two veggie tacos and when we were vegan they knew exactly what to do (remove cheese and sour cream). And even after removing those things, there was still loads of stuff on the tacos! Also, the tortillas were freshly made and delicious! Will definitely stop here again on our way to/from Waimea Canyon!
