The lentilsssss - Edit
Really glad I gave this place a try. I ordered on Doordash bc the other app didn't explain what you got in the Vegan Combo but Doordash did. You get to choose three servings of entrées that go on top of the base which is white rice. I got the lentils, collard greens and braised cabbage.
Read moreThe lentils!!! So tasty. Very nicely seasoned with a little bit of spice. As I was eating, I was like "How can I make this?" I actually plan on trying to make it myself with a recipe I found online. Will definitely be coming back to this restaurant though.
The collard greens were cooked well but really reallymlacked favor. Just faintly tasted like lemon juice was in it. Quite healthy though nevertheless.
The cabbage was good. I was expecting it to be savory but it was actually sweet. I'm more of a savory person so I didn't like it as much and ended up adding a little soy sauce
I will note that the picture on Doordash shows the African bread (the spongey one) coming with the meal but it wasn't provided. I think you have to pay separately for it. Which I'm okay with, just wish I would have known because I really wanted to try it and eat the food the authentic way.
I also got a vegan Samusa. Very Very Very tasty. Wish I got 2. The outside crust was perfectly flakey and crispy. And the lentils and such inside were really good. I tried a little bit of the sauce it came with but it was too spicy for me.
Overall, I really liked this restaurant and probably will visit again in the future.
Pros: Vegan combo is good, Seems very healthy
Cons: Bread not included, have to order it separately

Wanted to leave. 5 star review but the app says that you can only leave a 5 star for fully veg places. Kinda odd imo but okay. 🌟⭐️⭐️🌟🌟

I want to give it five stars but the app won’t let me - Edit
One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant we got the order to go. The owner was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. The prices are very reasonable and the food is AMAZING. The Misir wot is spiced well and both vegetable dishes are seasoned to perfection. To top it all of the samosa filled with green lentils was superb. My mother and I both finished our plates with a smile on our face. This will be my go and for all my out of town friends!

Definitely Try! - Edit
I love Ethiopian and was excited to find this place! There is a storefront for ordering pickup in addition to the food truck. The menu has vegan/vegetarian options clearly marked. Everything I had was delicious. I can't wait to try the rest.
