Decent - Edit
Food is pretty good. More filling than I expected based on sight. Service and ambiance is pretty basic. Vegan options are sufficient.

Would call them CLEAN if they didn’t have a bunch of corpse on their menu. Believe that. But yes the vegan options are DECENT!!

Good - Edit
I’ve eaten here several times, and the food is always good. My only complaint is it takes a while for them to make it and for wait service in general, which has been consistent with my experience at Ethiopian restaurants in general.

Good food. GF injera by request - Edit
Tasty vegan food. Call ahead if you need gluten free injera since they don’t always have it. Dining area is bare bones and there is always loud TV on. Service can be slow.

Flavorful - Edit
The flavors here are amazing. The food comes out super fresh and is always delicious. Very cute location and a true hidden gem. My personal favorite is the Shiro Wot on injera.

Many vegan options - Edit
My first try at Ethiopian cuisine, couldn’t have asked for better experience. The sambusa is delicious too, along with the green sauce

Good food not great service - Edit
The food was very good. The food came out very slowly and it wasn’t even warm, it was like warm. I don’t know now how it took that long to make.

Great! (4 stars bc of Happy Cow policy, since it's not completely vegan) - Edit
I ordered the sampler from the vegan menu & it was delightful. Plenty of food; it was two meals for me. The food was prepared very quickly. Great restaurant!!
Read more🗑 *Restaurant waste generation info* 🗑: I ordered to-go. Was given a plastic bag but I returned it with no problem. Food comes in a plastic container that does not have a number labeling what plastic it is. (Only plastic food containers labelled #5 are recyclable in Ellicot City/Howard County.) No plastic utensils are automatically given since the food is meant to be eaten with the (delicious) injera.

Great selection of tasty vegan items! - Edit
I drove from Frederick to meet a friend for dinner here. We are both vegan. Everything we had was great! The menu has a vegan section with several items. I had the vegan combo with 4 items - Gomen Wot, Tiki Gomen Wot, Misir Wot, and Tofu Wot. The food was not too spicy as a previous review mentioned. Currently, the restaurant is BYOB so we brought our own bottle of wine (and the restaurant provided wine glasses). We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Our server was friendly and helpful. At the end of dinner, the owner came out to ask us how our meal was. The setting is casual and clean. I would give five stars but Happy Cow only allows up to four stars for restaurants that are not fully vegan. I will be back!

Great local spot! - Edit
Excited to have this solid Ethiopian restaurant nearby. Our party had a mix of vegan and meat dishes. Everything was tasty. Cardamom tea and mango drink were nice dinner accompaniments. Tigi was welcoming. We'll be back!

okay but could be better - Edit
It's nice that this restaurant caters to vegans. I ate here for an organized group meal. I was a bit disappointed as I found most things to be too spicy. Also the salads were not made with fully ripe ingredients (the tomatoes were a sort of pale reddish), the food had a piece of plastic stuck in it, and the ambiance left a lot to be desired. They did offer a big variety of things on this special menu, however.

Great vegan selection - Edit
This place has a great selection of vegan food! My friend and I chose to order vegan sambusas to start and they were SO tasty. We then went on to order "Vegan Combo #2", which let you choose 8 options from the vegan menu. The vegan menu had 8 choices so we went for one of each. Our favorites were the Misir Wot, Tikil Gomen Wot, and Gomen Wot. Everything came out on a large injera, and served with extra on the side. The staff was very helpful and polite. The restaurant itself is very small and simple, but it's clean. Can't wait to return!
