Disappointing - Edit
I'm hesitant to write a poor review, but on this occasion I think I have to. I'd seen their breakfast menu online and was excited for a vegan option. Unfortunately when I got there the menu had been updated and the vegan option removed.
Read moreNot even the fruit salad was a vegan breakfast since it came naturally with yoghurt. I asked if they had any coconut yoghurt and the waiter said confidently that they did. He then asked another waiter who said very confidently that they didn't!
I was really looking forward to a scrambled tofu or something with a bit of protein, but I was let down. I had the fruit with a tablespoon of oats splashed over and it was fine. It just wasn't the breakfast I had in mind and it was the only option, so I didn't really have a choice.
The oat iced latte was really nice though and I sat on the beach next to a little dog making himself a comfortable hole in the sand which made me happy. I also appreciated that they don't charge extra for oat milk or ice in the coffee, which most places do.
Pros: Oat iced latte didn't charge extra
Cons: No vegan option on the b/fast menu, No coconut yoghurt

Slow Service - Edit
It takes ages to get served. Nice range of drinks to have on the beach but limited vegan options

Minimal Vegan Food - Edit
Used to have the best Vegan breakfast on the Island…
Read more*Please see the picture.
But they have taken it off the menu and replaced it with…
Errr.
Nothing?!
It's sad to see such a cool and hip place make next to no effort for the Vegan community.
We don't only want smashed avocado and fruit.
We want MAINS.
There is a burger on the menu with a Green Rebel (Vegan) patty and even Vegan cheese, which is unheard of in Bali…
Yet.
The bun is brioche?!
So silly.
If they replaced the bun, there would actually be a Vegan main on the menu that would be edible for all.

Great vegan options - Edit
We had a lovely meal here, one of our favourites on the island. Very popular place so do arrive early to ensure you get a table. Food was delicious and very flavoursome. Highly recommended!

Tofu wrap - Edit
I had the tofu wrap for dinner and it was quite nice, a little spicy but very filling. Found it very difficult to find good vegan food on Nusa Lembongan( travelling with my Omni partner so need veg options restaurants not just vegan) so this was a nice meal and good value. Staff were pleasant and nice.

Not the best I’ve had - Edit
I had their smoothiebowl and it was okay. But the fruit on top was frozen, which made it not that delicious and way too cold! Frozen on frozen is not delicious. Had their avocado toast, but asked for no dairy and eggs on top. It was okay, but a little boring. It was just toast and avocado, which was okay, but would have been nice with some vegan options

Ew - Edit
Don't bother. The food was horrible. When we arrived the waiter gave us a look that said "go away" then dragged his feet behind him and stretched out to give us the menus across a table before we even sat down at one. He was so rude, which is a great feat in a country where the population is so friendly and always smiling.

Tofu tastes like bleeding gum - Edit
I don't know how better to describe the awful taste of the tofu wrap than bleeding gums. The peanut sauce was watery, only veg was cabbage and carrot. The menu said it had coriander but both our wraps came without. We asked the chef and he said someone put it on the menu but that's not how he cooks it. The staff all had the flu incl. chef.

Overpriced - Edit
The food was alright but the chips that came with the tofu wrap had a really odd metallic taste that stayed on my mouth for ages so couldn’t eat those.

Best vegan food & location on Nusa Lembongan - Edit
Tigerlilly’s deserves 5 stars! Unfortunately I only discovered this restaurant the night before leaving but this would definitely be my first choice on the island if I came back (I wouldn’t even bother to go somewhere else, most restaurants were rather disappointing). My first impression was already great- beautiful and elegant garden restaurant, modern and tastefully furnished, nice smell of incense, nice music in the background. Waiter friendly and fast, seemed to understand vegan concept. Best fresh papaya juice without sugar since I came to Bali (I’ve tried many!), finally not a watery taste but still nicely chilled. I ordered the Asian salad since I had a craving for raw food and Tempe and it was a great choice. Finally some fresh greens, sprouts, herbs, peanuts, sweet cherry tomatoes and lime, topped with loads of lightly fried coconut oil Tempe, fused to a healthy salad bowl. Next time I will definitely try their breakfast smoothie bowls, Nasi Campur, vegan curry with fresh coconut milk, samosas etc. (For the vegetarians out there-the pizzas the people next to my table ordered looked amazing! Pretty sure they can make them without cheese. They cook fresh!) Go there 😊👍🏼
