Delicious Vegan Food! - Edit
The Quinoa almond “Feta” bowl is really good! Have ordered it a number of times. The combo of the tangy dressing with the almond feta really brings out the flavour of the dish. Definitely a healthy lunch choice. Would highly recommend.

Delicious - Edit
Grabbed lunch on a cross country trip. Quick service, reasonable prices, and delicious food. Loved the smokey maple sandwich and the chocolate croissant! I loved that they make good vegan food (not just the healthy plant-based salads that I find elsewhere).

Great cozy vine - Edit
I loved the variety of options on the menu for food and beverages. There were loads of books to look at while I waited for my southern fried tofu sandwich and maple oat dandy blend latte. The latte was excellent and the sandwich so great!

Must visit - Edit
Tried one of (almost) everything and wow! Such a cute place. The chai latte wasn’t good, but the food was great. The books were too expensive for what they were. The employee was so nice, but forgot 3 items from our order. Would definitely come back.

Great Food but the Nanaimo Bar is OFF THE HOOK DELISH! - Edit
We've been here many times and have not been disappointed. We just had a couple Iced Dandelion drinks, the breakfast sandwich, Cesar salad and many deserts.
Read moreAll were very tasty and I'd recommend them all, but the Nanaimo Bar is by far my favorite.
I had gobbled down most of my lunch before I thought to take pictures. There's the brownie, a donut from OhDonuts, and a wee little piece of the Nanaimo I hadn't yet crammed into my gob.
I highly recommended giving them a try.

When ever we are in Winnipeg, we will work in a lunch at Thyme Cafe! The Parsnip Sandwich is out of this world! The date bars are so tasty! The service was very helpful and they even told us how they made some of the food! Very positive experience!

Thyme Cafe = BEST - Edit
GIVE ALL YOUR MONEY TO THYME CAFE IN ST. BONIFACE ♥️♥️♥️ wow what an absolute gem, was so pleased there today. had a delicious vegan burger, quinoa salad, and Nanaimo bar to boot! tasty matcha and cozy atmosphere. The owner didn’t prompt a tip when I went to pay and I asked why (and got them to go back so I could enter one), and they told me they got a bad review on happy cow once because they gave a customer a tip option and stopped offering it since 🥺 as someone who worked in the service industry for 10 years I am here to say that tips are ESSENTIAL in small cafes restaurants bars etc, so so so! Go to Thyme cafe, eat SCRUMPTIOUS foods with affordable prices huge portions and tip the staff! 🐄♥️🐄 The owner’s were also incredibly lovely.

A family friendly Cafe in St. Boniface - Edit
The Mondragon was the first vegan restaurant in Winnipeg and was a staple for the politically minded getting their vegan food and radical literature. It's nice to see Sandra and Jason bringing that back to the city where many of those Mondragon favorites have been brought back to their menu.
Read moreThe trend in vegan eating has shifted towards junk food processed foods Thyme however focuses on making simple, healthy unprocessed meals. You won't find Beyond Meat on their menu. You will however have some of the best soups, sandwiches and baking offered in the city.

Great Food but hours not convenient... - Edit
The food here has always been fantastic since they opened. However, they need to look at staying open later than 5 pm on weekdays to accommodate the supper crowd and those that are wanting to pick up dinner on their way home from work.
