Limited options

I recently visited a restaurant that once boasted a variety of vegan options, but my experience was disappointing as they’ve drastically cut down the menu. Now, only a basic vegan hamburger and a couple of starters remain. The limited choices left me unsatisfied, and I hope they reconsider their decision

Cons: Price, Limited options

Good food

The food is good, the place is very nice and the service is ok. They have some problems like dividing the bill for the table, you can't divide it among many people so it's a hassle when paying the bill and the restaurant is quite expensive.

Pros: Nice food, cool environment

Cons: Very expensive, disorganization

Got sick after

Went there very enthusiastic but unfortunately it was a big let down. The food was okay but very pricey. The vibe in the bar was almost like a club. Not a nice dinner experience. Me and my sister both got very nauseous later in the evening. Not sure where it came from, but I'm thinking it was their food. They also have a poor beer selection which is just a big bummer in a city like Dublin. Staff was friendly though and they do have a decent selection of vegan dishes. My sister and I regret going there and we should've just gotten a vegan burger in a pub. Would've been a better atmosphere.

Pros: Good offer of vegan burgers and loaded fries

Cons: Pricey, Got sick after, Bad vibe and poor beer selection

Nothing special

Not as extensive a vegan offering as they used to have but they still have a couple of decent burgers and it's handy to have some place in the city centre you can tag along with meat eaters and not worry about being catered to.

Pros: Good burgers

Cons: Pricey

Pricey and average

These guys don't do the chickun strips anymore, but do still have a couple of burgers and a fajita option. The food is expensive even for Dublin standards, and distinctly average - not awful, but not great. Service was incredibly slow - lots of better places to go nearby

Cons: Slow, expensive, not amazing food

Good

I had the darko burger, it was pretty good! Not my favorite vegan burger ever and quite expensive but the music and vibes inside were nice.

Vegan items could do with a bit of work

The restaurant has an American diner vibe and the staff are very friendly. The vegan and vegetarian boasts two vegan burgers and chick hun strips. The Darko burger was pretty good, very realistic but not too heavy whereas I found the chick hun strips way too heavy and wasn't crazy about the taste. The garlic mayo is nice but the coleslaw was awful, it had a really vinegary taste and I couldn't eat it. With a little more work on their vegan items I think they could really improve.

Pros: Friendly staff, vegan burgers

Cons: Densely fried heavy meat substitute

Not for us. Poor tourist trap.

Arrived in Dublin tired, other half wanted a (meaty) burger, found this on Happy Cow, menu looked ok for vegans and omnis so booked online. Yikes. Like a fake Hard Rock Cafe. Server said their menu had just changed this week but online menu hadn’t yet been updated. Only vegan options included fake meat style patties but server checked with kitchen and said they’d do me an enchilada. Actually pretty tasty and grateful they were able to accommodate but wouldn’t return or recommend. Omnis weren’t fans either.

Nothing special

Decided I had to check this place out and I wasn’t really impressed. I got the southern vegan burger. It’s a decent size, but I found it pretty dry and wasn’t impressed with it. I’m glad I checked it out, but I wouldn’t go again. Super lovely and attentive staff though!

Pros: Fair amount of vegan options , 2 vegan dessert options , Friendly staff

Cons: Food wasn’t impressive, Expensive , Noisy

Decent vegan food

Nice “veganified” versions of traditional diner food. Unfortunately the day we went they didn’t get a delivery of the “chick-hun” so only had the option of the burger. But was very nice.

Great Food, but very loud

The food selection was awesome, I chose the Southern Burger with garlic mayo. A separate vegan menu with five or so alternatives. The place had really loud music however, and I'm not sensitive about noise. Maybe not for a romantic date, but I would pay it a visit.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, High quality food (including substitute meats) , Nice staff

Cons: Noisy

American and vegan BBQ

They just created a vegan and vegetarian menu card. 4 meals for each category and 2 vegan desserts. The food is typical american. We had the BBQ ribs and the converter burger. Especially the burger was really good. The staff was friendly as well.

Pros: Good beers, Nice ambiente, Friendly staff

Cons: Small portions
