Cute Little Cafe! - Edit
This place straddles being a coffeeshop, cafe, and lunch restaraunt.
Read moreI've gone there in the coffeehouse vibes before and it was great! Snacks and hot chocolate are second to none :)

Great healthy plant based food! - Edit
A gem in south west Toronto with a huge dining area and a nice patio. Portions are good, though may be a bit on the small side for the price. My favorite menu items include the burrito, which is packed with black beans, avocado and spinach and their tex mex style veggie burger.
Read moreThrive also bakes their own muffins which are lovely when they are just out of the oven.
Last but not least, the staff are great!
Pros: Quality food, Friendly staff, Dessert selection

Pricey - Edit
I don’t mind paying for quality, but Thrive is very expensive for what you get. We ordered the guacamole burrito, alkaline salad and a few smoothies. It is very fresh with natural ingredients, but we were still hungry when we left.

Third and last time - Edit
The first two times all I know is I have a mental note not to go back. Since I forgot why I didn’t want to come back I decided to try it again today. I had to return the burrito because the sweet potato fries in it had the skin on it and they weren’t fully cooked. I don’t know about you but I love regular potatoes with skin but sweet potatoes with the skin is totally gross. And who likes under cooked potatoes of any sort? So to be friendly I didn’t ask for my money back I just took a soup of the day...black bean. I ate 3/4 of it because I was starving but it was horrible because it really truly tasted like canned soup you know with those crappy life squeezed out of them carrots … You know ...canned soup! Now whether they mixed it with some crappy canned ingredients I don’t know but it doesn’t matter it was bad. Oh yeah and I forgot the tiny little totally mashy salad that came with the burrito, it too was crappy.

Decent food, Amazing Dessert - Edit
I have been to this location a few times now and have not been supremely impressed. The team is great and very helpful and the spot is casual and spacious. The food items I enjoyed include the tacos, quesadilla (vegan), the bowls and the Mexican pizza. The burrito wrap was bland, and the nachos are also bland and lacking toppings and cheese.
Read moreThe juices and turmeric shot I've tried are great and the price to upgrade to a large is only 75c and a great deal.
The dessert cakes are AMAZING. A mini tort (maybe 5 inches diameter) perfect to share and 10 dollars. The Matcha cake is a must try. The Tiramisu has nuts and is yummy and unique. The sweet potato muffin is also really great.
Pros: Big space, Great service and team, Amazing desserts
Cons: The food is decent or hit and miss

Great Kind attention, but huge lack of flavor. - Edit
The place overall is welcoming. The staff is really warm and their attention is great. Nonetheless, the food is has a very significant lack of flavor, and sadly is was nothing special for us. Mostly because it is now an inexpensive meal. So, thumbs down for this one. But again, awesome staff.

Fresh food, at a price - Edit
Not many restos like this nearby but it is a good addition. Lots of fresh veg dishes. A bit on the pricy side, though. I look forward to trying their brunch.
Read moreSo far, my favourite has been the Hercules bowl and the turmeric latte. Not sure why but I don't like the majority of their dressings. The Hercules bowl is great though. Yum!
Also, love how spacious it is and the baby change station in the women's washroom.

LOVE this place but Expensive - Edit
I would have given this place a 5* review had it not been for the prices. I have eaten here often and have loved everything I have had from the seed, nut & grain veggie burger to the sprouted grain pizza. I recommend but bring your wallet!!!

Thrive is the perfect name for this place! - Edit
The food here is SO good and fresh! You will walk out feeling energized and nourished and craving more! Try their iced turmeric lattes with fresh organic almond milk, and the Thai wrap with fresh mango! My non-vegan bf loves the amigo wrap (has eggs&cheese) and almond milk iced turmeric lattes. This is our go to breakfast place whenever we are hitting the road somewhere... or any day, really! I would say skip the baked goods/desserts... they definitely taste healthy and not decadent really, but that might be what you like! I personally would rather skip a few "healthy" desserts in favour of one sinful one :) Otherwise, the food here is always fresh, satisfying and delicious!!

Best Vegan Brunch In Etobicoke - Edit
we have tried Thrive various days and times. We have enjoyed items such as the raw pad thai and the burger. We have found that brunch at Thrive tops anything else on the menu. it has become our go to brunch place. It is set up in a cafe / cafeteria style. You order and pay and then it is brought to your table. the food comes out resonably fast. The bread served with brunch is amazing! All the soups at Thrive are vegan - the cream of mushroom -yummy!
