Thankful for SOME options but meh.

I'll die on this hill, but it really irritates me when a restaurant fills their menu with tons of cheesy vegetarian options but as a customer you have to reverse engineer the menu to make a vegan option work. I give it a two because even my omnivore friends disliked their food.

I was also surprised that they had zero non-alcoholic options that weren't soda. As a sober person, there's no dignity in getting served in a plastic coca cola cup while your friends get craft brewed beer from the bar.

Overall just not a fan of the atmosphere. On one hand, I always appreciate some effort to have vegan options, and on the other...it's kind of like, save your money.

Neat atmosphere, good food

Loved having choices for a vegan meal. We will definitely be back!! More food to try 😁 I had a Bravacado burger with a sweet potato & black bean patty minus the bacon and cheese. Very tasty

Brussels galore

Very tasty had the pizza and the Tortuga. Both were good and had unique flavor. Staff was nice good service. The best part is they made Brussels tasty and put it on pizza.

Pros: Unique dishes, Great outdoor area

Limited but tasty vegan options.

There were around 5 vegan options including appetizers. We had the Tortuga Torta which was very good and their sweet potato black bean burger which was fine but fell apart. They also have a vegan cheese option for their pizza but we didn't try it. In a town without many vegan options this place stands out.

Pros: Tasty options , Excellent service

Cons: Limited options

An Interesting Take on Pizza

We came here with friends and went away happy. We started with a shared appetizer called “Beat the Heat,” watermelon and cucumber with tajin and chamoy sauce (a little heat). Then, my Daniel and I shared a vegan pizza with gluten-free crust. Amazing! Pomegranate bbq sauce with mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, onion, red pepper, arugula, and Violife mozzarella cheese. The combination of sweet and savory was yummmmmmy!

Good vegan options

Cute place with nice outdoor seating and sidewalk chalk and big connect 4 for kids. There were several vegan options on the menu, though our waiter didn’t seem to know how to modify vegetarian things to make them vegan. We ordered a veggie burger that was labeled vegan and the bun that came with it appeared to have eggs in it (bright yellow). The waiter initially said it did not have eggs, but when I asked him to double check due to an egg allergy he said it did and returned it for another bun. Overall, good place that I would return to.

Pros: Great outdoor seating, Very family friendly, Vegan options labeled on menu

Cons: Wait staff not well informed on vegan options

Terrific

We were pleasantly surprised to find 3 Blondes Brewing while spending a few days at a B&B in South Haven, MI. My husband likes to try local breweries. We would not have anticipated there would be any vegetarian or vegan options at a brewery. However, there were several great options for us to try. In the afternoon, we shared an appetizer, General Tso Cauliflower & it was delicious. Decided to go back for dinner & had the Ancient Grains Burger which was excellent, would definitely have it again & again! If we had found this place on the first day instead of the last day of our time in South Haven, MI, we would have eaten here for every evening meal.
I give 3 Blondes Brewing the highest rating allowed on Happy Cow!
