Excellent food. So sad to see it’s not really around anymore😒 - Edit
Loved this charming naan - genuinely one of the best curries I have had in my life. The vegan lamb was super cool! The Manchester Uni stall does not do the name justice… Hoping to see another pop-up soon!

This cool place in the Dead and Dumb building serves fantastic vegan curries and other stuff (cauliflower!), has a full bar, great music and such a cool vibe.

Manchester Gem - Edit
Controversial as there are so many incredible curry houses in MCR, but I would say this is one of my favourites! The food isn’t greasy and feels a lot fresher and healthier than your usual curry, whilst still tasting incredible. Lots of GF options and all curries are super customisable with the addition of extra veg, fake meat, etc. It is quite pricey, but most good curries cost a lot these days. The extra bonus of the Smiths references and the fact that the Deaf Institute is also a great music and events venue, it’s a great place to experience some of the best of Manchester 🐝

Fantastic curry - Edit
Gorgeous spicy Madras curry. I really love spice so was really impressed with the spice level in this. Really tasty with the tasty garlic naan and it was a generous sized portion with rice. I had it with broccoli and extra onions and peppers and thoroughly enjoyed it. My partner has the tikka masala with added chicken and thought it was fantastic too. Would highly recommend.

It's Alright - Edit
It's just alright. Was tempted to make a Smiths reference but I was always a bigger fan of The Cure anyway.
Read moreStandout dish was probably the slaw that the chick'n pakora is served with - v fresh and zesty. Everything else was well made, palatable, and nicely served - it just wasn't very interesting. If I were to visit again I'd probably order a pot of chili pickle to perk it all up a bit.
Pros: Good portions, Nice dishes
Cons: White spice palate
