We checked out the bakery for their Easter themed cupcakes and went home with their incredibly delicious GF/V ice cream sandwiches! Definitely very sweet but worth it every bite!

I have always really loved ThimbleCakes. Their Cupcakes and baked goods are always delicious, and they almost always have a fun, unexpected flavour like French Toast or Banana Split. If you're a coconut fan like me, their ice cream is amazing. I especially love the chocolate 🍫. The actual shop itself also has a very cute and classy aesthetic.

Walking up Bank Street, I noticed a blackboard sign saying “Coconut Ice Cream is Back.” Turns out most of their goodies are vegan, besides the ice cream. There are several delicious flavours of ice cream - I enjoyed the mocha chip - and ice cream sandwiches too. As for baked goods, there are cupcakes, cookies and lots of other treats - almost all are vegan - and several GF items, besides custom-made cakes. The apple turnover is nice and flaky. Hot beverages also available. Nice shop!

THE most delicious pumpkin scone ice ever had!!! It's hard to find both gluten free and vegan treats, and Thimble had a great selection of cupcakes, cookies, and scones. The texture was absolutely on point, so light and the perfect amount of spice. I need their secret recipes!!

We tried almost everything and were glad we did so! We ordered a pumpkin pie early for Thanksgiving (delicious filling, flaky crust), and just kept adding things to our order while admiring the shop. The apple turnovers are delicious and the chocolate chip cookies (somehow dairy free!) were fantastic!

Just returned today (finally got back to Canada!!) and those apple turnovers are still delicious! Also picked up a beautiful vegan cake for Easter (decorated in colorful flowers). Still didn’t get any ice cream…will have to return in summer for that. Still 5 stars!!

Palm Oil.... 0/10 for being careless and lying. - Edit
Unfortunately another example that "Vegan" doesn't mean healthy or ethical and that some companies use this vegan "trend" to sale and not on principle (even if they say so, see below). Place looked nice, went in to get something for my GF, asked for their ingredient list and notice the low quality ingredients including PALM OIL in pretty much everything. Also, I was very disappointed when I read the below (see below) statement on their website... Says a lot about a company. I would strongly suggest going somewhere else and asking for the ingredients to really know what you're buying and encouraging!

I really love this place, they have vegan ice cream and cupcakes, even hot chocolate. A bit on the pricey side, and i could swear there's a fishy taste in the icing but i love it anyway.

This is an excellent (did I say excellent) bakery and ice cream parlour (coconut ice-cream). The ambience is great, service fantastic, and their baked goods are out-of-this world (a bit pricey, but goooood). Highly recommend this place.
