They now have vegan pancakes 🥞 - Edit
They always had vegan batter but only made it available for people who were allergic, refusing to serve it to vegans. This has changed, and they have vegan batter for pancakes listed on their menu now. It’s tasty but very expensive for what it is. I can arguably make a better one at home for a fraction of the price. Nevertheless, it’s in a nice area and great to take your family!

Came here as a mixed group (vegan, veggies and non veggies). The restaurant is beautiful and staff very welcoming. Had no problem ordering vegan pancakes, our waitress seemed to know exactly what I wanted and I really enjoyed my meal. This restaurant also has a lovely kids corner, which my son very much enjoyed (destroying 🤭).

Ik heb een prima vegan tomatensoep gegeten, maar wilde eigenlijk een pannenkoek. Toen ik aangaf een melkvrije en eivrije pannenkoek te willen werd mij gevraagd naar mijn motieven. Blijkbaar was die pannenkoek uitsluitend bedoeld voor mensen met allergieën. Er werd redelijk bot op mijn verzoek gereageerd terwijl ik uitsluitend iets van de kaart wilde bestellen.

De beste pannenkoeken in Utrecht en omgeving eet je hier. De locatie is fijn, zeker wanneer je buiten kunt zitten. De pannenkoeken zijn lekker, en in ieder geval de meeste zoete pannenkoeken zijn ook veganistisch te bestellen. Wel is het restaurant soms niet bereid veganistische pannenkoeken te bereiden; ze hebben dan vaak liever dat je iets anders van de kaart bestelt. Wanneer je zegt lactosevrij te eten, kan het soms ineens wel. Wat meer klantvriendelijkheid richting veganisten is gewenst

This pancake house has vegan pancakes! Although some of the staff doesn't know what 'vegan' is. If you catch one who doesn't know they will go and fetch a staff member who will take your order for a 'diet' pancake. I went with my rowing team and all our pancakes were served at the same time, which was rather neat considering that it was extremely busy.
