Love the vibe! - Edit
The service here is fairly quick, and they have lots of selections in seating. I got a Works bagel with the Tofutti veg cream cheese and cucumbers. It was very tasty for a quick breakfast. I wish they had more topping options for bagels, but they do have a fully vegan wrap on the menu. They are also able to modify almost anything on the menu to be vegan.

Good bagel - Edit
They stock oat and almond milk for coffee. I got an oat milk latte and toasted everything bagel with vegan veggie cream cheese. Midday on Wednesday order came out in about 4-5 min. There's plenty of seating but I probably wouldn't try to eat lunch there because orders are getting shouted out all the time. Will come back next time I'm in concord!

Amazing! - Edit
Went here every single day in Concord. The works bagel with the vegan veggie cream cheese is delicious! Their mocha and hazelnut flavors for coffee are dairy free (others may be as well but these are the ones I tried). Definitely recommend that bagel!

Potpourri - Edit
This place offers things like salads, bowls, smoothies, and bagels, with just some items in each category that are vegan. I had a bagel with a tofu smear: it was pretty good, though far from New York quality.

bit expensive and kind of awkward to order in-person as a deaf person but online ordering is an option!

Best Bagels in Concord - Edit
This place has the best bagels in town. Lots of cream cheese options and a few tofutti spread options too. Farmer veggie and cheese sandwich is my go to for lunch. Smoothies, salads, bowls and other breakfast options as well. Nice tall seating booths.

Vegan cream cheese - Edit
I've been eating at The Works (it used to be Bagelworks) for over 25 years in various locations. They had vegan cream cheese way back then, which was an oddity. They switched over to the non hydrogenated tofutti a few years ago at this point and they also buy local as much as possible. My standard is sesame or works bagel with veggie tofutti add lettuce, tomato and cucumber and I'll add sprouts at times too.

Huge disappointment - Edit
Really looked forward to an everything bagel and vegan cream cheese. They looked at me like I had 2 heads when I asked if they could confirm that the bagels were vegan. She very nicely asked someone in the back who could only confirm no eggs but did know know if there was dairy. A sad morning for me. I got a banana.

Best vegan/veggie in Concord - Edit
We have been coming here for 20 years. The food is consistently good and they have recently expanded the menu to include salads and bowls.

Vegan cream cheese! - Edit
I got a works bagel with tofutti cream cheese. They have plain or veggie, and the veggie was loaded with scallions - it was sooo good! The portion size was huge for the price too. I got an iced tea that was delicious as well. I saw on the coffee list that they have almond milk as well.

NOT very vegan-friendly! - Edit
My son and I (both vegan) were looking for a convenient lunch spot and found this cafe thanks to HappyCow. The staff were fairly stumped when I asked for vegan recommendations, and it quickly became clear that vegan meant simply removing all the meat and dairy from any sandwich or salad (leaving very little). Luckily, the two soups of the day happened to be vegan, and we added a humus sandwich each. The food was pretty tasty, but way overpriced for the small servings. I would not recommend this eatery to other vegans.
Read morePros: Fresh, tasty food, Plenty of indoor seating
Cons: No real vegan options, Overpriced, small portions, Irresponsible use of disposables

Most of their disposables are compostable and have been for a long time.
