Really good but not quite there

The pub is on a relatively quiet county road near a beautiful path for casual walkers, the Middlewood Way. There is a decent amount of off road parking if you're traveling by car but it can get busy at peak times. The starters were terrific especially the Cauliflower buffalo wings. The crispy tofu was really nice too. In terms of mains the burger fell apart way too easily and was difficult to eat and not as good as the starters. The side dishes were great. The vegan selection is not great but what is on offer is nice.

Pros: Vegan meals were really nice, Location is lovely with a good beer garden, Nice atmosphere

Cons: Only a few vegan options

Very nice food but not many vegan choices

The vegan food was very good, I had the crispy tofu which was beautifully cooked. There was only about 3 choices. I was really surprised that they had no none dairy milk!

Pros: Food very tasty

Cons: No non dairy milk!!!!, Could be more chouces

Lovely vegan dishes; but menu would be better with a few more options

Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Especially good on band night.
