Serves meat, vegan options available. Cute cafe inside a windmill. Has lots of vegan choices, especially sweet treats, including pumpkin scones with nuttlex, choc chip and blueberry muffins, slices of banana bliss cake, sorbets and gelato. Has vegan specials at times, including waffles. Has an outdoor area. Open Mon-Sun 7:00am-2:00pm.

Only two options and very ordinary - Edit
Had the vegan melt… however there was melt… just a roll with some tofu onion and capsicum! Very disappointing for the $’s paid.

Chef does tofu 🥳 - Edit
Feels daunting as solo diner when waiting to be seated, but vegan brekkie has excellent flavour tofu scramble an offering at vegan bacon and is a large serving. Was only missing the hash brown, but healthier without I guess 😜 and you could add on if you wish. Lovely varied seating options would do well for group gatherings. Friendly staff.
Read morePros: Decent serving size, Well seasoned tofu scramble but not overpowering, Fairly quick service despite being quite busy.
Cons: Feels daunting as solo diner when waiting to be se, Expensive vegan breakfast $27 and no hash brown , No vegan cakes on offer.

Disappointed - Edit
Not many vegan options - no sweet treats in the cabinet are vegan. Some menu options for breakfast can be made vegan (smoothie bowls) and there are some options from 11am menu

Awful and expensive food - Edit
Been here twice, both times very disappointed. The burger Pattie was mushy sweet potato with almost no flavour. The Buddha bowl ~ the “roasted cauliflower” came out cold, tasted like cold steamed cauliflower rolled in tumeric. The cashew cheese was lumpy.
Read morePaid an extra $7 for tofu scramble ~ also served cold.
The fries though were absolutely delicious!
Pros: Vibe , The chips
Cons: The vegan meals

Their coffees are amazing - Edit
I absolutely love The Windmill cafe! It's gorgeous, small and you feel like you're closer to nature. A few downsides are the waiting times are a bit long due to the popularity, the tables are quite small (you rub knees with who you sit with).
Read morePros: The coffees are amazing , The waffles are yum, They have a variety of vegan/vegetarian meals.
Cons: Expensive , Lack of seating , Wait times

Decent vegan offering - Edit
Nice location with a humble vegan offering, including a vegan breakfast with tofu scramble and vegan bacon. Setting is pleasant and unique. More options than most in the area for brunch foods. Super dog friendly as an added bonus.

Vegan snickers bowl 👌 - Edit
Had the vegan snickers bowl and it was HUGE!! And soo tasty. Also had the avo smash (which we removed the goats cheese to make vegan). Coffee was good and the outdoor seating is nice and quaint

Açai Bowl was FANTASTIC!! The Buddha bowl - not so much... - Edit
My husband and I stopped in here on a road trip.
Read moreI got a vegan GF açai bowl and he got a vegan Buddha bowl. My bowl was amazing! The fruit was all fresh and the flavours were great. My husband’s wasn’t good at all though. The sweet potato, cauliflower, rice & quinoa were all old and cold still. They weren’t cooked properly and tasted days old. He ended up eating half of mine lol.
But as I said I highly recommend the açai bowl!! It was very good.
Pros: Açai bowl with seasonal fruit, Atmosphere, Good service
Cons: Buddha bowl

Few vegan options - Edit
Had a couple of vegan options on the menu priced $15-$20. I personally consider the servings quite small, although the ingredients were all fresh.
